Marvellous I’ve finally managed to soften my Vejas and actually bought a second pair in a different colour but they took a long time to give (and extra socks).
No style news here, I’m planning my next wardrobe clear out. It may be time to ditch most of the stripes.
Big thank you to Justa for the eyeliner parcel that arrived today. I’m going to try them tomorrow.
When I finally got changed out of my dog walking gear yesterday I was quite pleased with my outfit. I wore my Joseph leather skinnies, Warchild peace and love sweatshirt and my Grensons.
Hope you all have lovely weekends. We’re out for dinner with friends tomorrow night but no other plans.

Hello sorry I’ve been awol this week.

I need to order a summer hat, I’ve never bought one before, anyone know which makes are good? Any tips for buying one? I’ve started using tretinoin so I need to keep my face out of the sun.

I have a hat I bought when I was 24 years old from a hat shop. It was far more expensive than I could afford at the time but I still have it now. I actually think it is the lowest CPW of my whole wardrobe - the brand is Helen Kaminski

I also have a J Crew straw hat that can be bunched up in a tote - I use that too (live in sunny country and use tretinoin).

Will follow your hat hunt with interest karcheer. I have a nice straw one but it doesn't fold and I have a very sensible hat for beach / bush walking with a proper brim etc but it's seriously uncool .

I bought this maxi dress today. I love it, planning to wear it tomorrow.

I’m so over stripes too and they used to be such a staple in my wardrobe but now they’re just hanging there, unloved and unworn 😥

Anyhoo, love both the dresses Lib and Dry linked and the Loubs are lush.

I picked up a straw hat in Accessorize (almost identical to the pic)at the airport about 5 years ago, it squashes into any bag or case and still looks ok-in fact, I rather like the slightly battered look to it

I still love stripes - I think they look fresh and crisp especially in the sun.

Shop if you are having a clear out I would keep the items that are in good condition as I think you'd regret chucking them all.

I need to do a wardrobe sort out. Seem to have lots of things I never wear. And at the same time I'm struggling to know what to wear at times especially for weekends.

I saw some nice hats on Matches too. Tbh, the hat for me is not for style - but for my skin/ vanity - I’d buy a cheap one you can scrunch up/ misplace. I paid a lot for an Italian ‘hand made’ one a couple years ago and it fell apart after two outings....

I also need to do a wardrobe clear out / refresh. It’s so full, but yet I struggle to get dressed every day and don’t feel like I have a lot of options. When I kondo’d it about 5 years ago I felt full of sartorial inspiration - but I had so much less to choose from .....:.

I like how WIT mixes her patterns and I want to start doing that more. For many years I have been too ‘matchy matchy’ - that approach now seems so contrived .

I just bought these (not full price) and hope to wear them with patterned dresses and jeans.

Apple I’ve just watched Trinny on Insta showing how she organises her wardrobe.......OMG.......mines not too bad (and quite big) but it’s making me feel like folding my jumpers in colour order!!!!
