Now. A request. Can we please keep this to critiquing the clothes rather than the wearer?

So if you want to talk about what Meghan's wearing then fine, go ahead. I'm not even saying you have to like everything she wears. This applies to all royal women - if you don't like an outfit then do feel free to say so.

But if you want to talk about "Megxit" then please go to one of the many many other MN threads about it and leave us to our clothes chatter!

Gianvito Rossi shoes are v comfortable & fairly classic. I’ve had a pair for 6 ½ years and they still look fine (obviously not worn around Tesco’s).

That black dress on Kate is lovely, but it looks like quite heavy fabric which makes me think it would look better with sleeves.

But then she wouldn't have been able to put on the gun show!

I am going to get DCs to enter the Radio 2 500 words story competition and quite clearly they will win each category. The problem is what shall I wear to Buckingham Palce in June? I don’t want to look like I am going to a wedding.

First World Problems

I usually like what Kate wears but I'm not terribly keen on her in ankle straps. I have the same problem, my legs aren't long enough and are a bit too muscly for them. They look fine on her under a long dress but seem to chop her legs up a bit in anything shorter.

With ankle straps I think you need fitted shorter length dress a bit more flirty than the dress DOC is wearing.

The shoes don't go with the dress and the necklace is awful.

I didn't like that pearl set either.

The emeralds are amazing.
Kate's make up looks different in that photo - very glowy. I wonder was it a professional make up artist who did it. I think Kate is known to often do her own make up for events.

It was Baftas 2018, so it would have been Louis. It was the year all the female attendees were encouraged to wear black for Time's Up.

Re: Kate's emeralds. They themselves are incredible but I don't like the setting of the necklace. Much prefer HM's setting.

these are the Loud ones, in my defence , I was heavily pregnant When I bought the tangerine ones and probably not thinking straight.

They're great @queenofarles especially the bright ones, wonderful choice of colours all round.

Some are mine and some are not @NoGravyForYou I have a collage app and it takes about 30-60 seconds to make a collage.
