Kate would not have had bare legs like that. It’s not suitable in January and is considered cheap looking. Shame her shots are too big as usual. She just needs a bit of guidance on how to look chic and buy the right size of shoes.

I love Meghans skirt and shoes not so keen on the jumper, I think the camera flash has made her bra show through the fabric. She needs a haircut. Re the no tights was it not mid teens temperature wise in London today? Plenty warm for bare legs hopping out of a car.

I feel like the other Royal couples hold hands less because they are speaking to crowds - or Kate has a bag. That and it is a bit strange to do it while working.

PH should acquire the husbandly skill of giving his wife the once over before going in front of the cameras. Pick stray hair off her coat / suggest she puts on coat so sweat patches don’t show / check for stray price tags / visibility of bra under flashes etc.

They didn't. Those photos are award pics, where Diana was handing over a cup or similar. They have been caught in a snapshot moment, but they rarely showed any affection towards each other as a rule.

The short coat over the long flimsy skirt - no. It just looks so wrong, especially a heavy looking coat over a floaty skirt.
Someone really needs to be taking photos from all angles then further away to show what things look like in reality. I get my 17yr old son to check all my clothes ate flat and look right before I go somewhere (dh cant be trusted as it's always "fine"), he tells me if something looks wrong or doesnt look the best.
I dont understand why, with people working for them none can do this, it would definitely help.

I am still (have been for ages) utterly mystified by the shoe sizing. I keep seeing pictures of far too big shoes? Why? I buy shoes that fit me, I can walk in them and they look nice. Why would you need ones at least a size to big for your feet? It makes it hard to walk and balance and is generally uncomfortable. Are they all on loan?

Anyone know the explanation for this weirdness?

I think the outfit looks all wrong. The shoes are too dressy for daytime and worn with bare legs look odd. The skirt and blouse I don't like at all. Her bra shows through the blouse. The coat thank God is not belted but is creased and a bit underwhelming. Her hair looks raggedy and too long. Her make up is good but the hand holding is just not professional at all and looks like they can't operate separately. In grown adults in their thirties it just looks a bit cringe. Never mind that they are doing a job in front of the world's press.

I don’t understand why they are thanking the staff at the Canadian Embassy in London for their private holiday in Canada. And why do it so very publicly? It’s like an official “look at us - we’re back!” circus.

The sweat patches are unfortunate but I'm sure we've all been there. There's not much she could've done if she only noticed after they'd set out for the day. Except maybe make a note for her PA to get the Mitchum in next time!

Maybe she’s has bunions. Maybe she prefers her shoes to be bigger so they don’t pinch. Could be a myriad of reasons.

It must have been very hot in that embassy. Hey we all sweat so she is human. I would like her to get her hair seen to now she is back home. Perhaps she is not obsessed with her looks as others are.

I can’t get excited about bare legs.

She is looking very svelte again guess the post baby look has gone now. Wish mine had gone as fast.
