Wasn't there a soap with a Pilar character in years ago? I want to say the one set abroad...Spain maybe? With lots of ex pats and people from other European countries.....someone died??? Off to google I go....

There was a character called Pilar in one of Agatha Christie’s books (I think it’s a Poirot one, not sure without reverting to Google). Which makes me think it might be a generational name. But I’m certainly no expert on Spanish names, and I’m basing my assumption on very little evidence.

Eldorado was car crash telly at its finest. Anything that could go wrong did. It actually had some proper actors in it too, as well as some appalling ones. We may never see its equal again....

I only watched a couple of episodes of Eldorado, can't really remember it.

I loved Eldorado!

I went to primary school with a Pilar in the mid eighties

Eldorado was good at the end but it's death warrant had already been signed.
They were vintage soap years, there was Eldorado and Brookie back then.
