Charles and Camilo arrived separately too. In fact the Cambridge's in 2 cars made the most sense to me out of all of them 3 car seats/boosters in the back is tight plus the had security in the car there wouldn't have been room for everyone in one. I don't think Louis went last year so it was a bit different

QueenOfTheAndals · 18/12/2019 14:42

I wouldn't have even considered that a PDA @7Worfs, he's just touching her arm!

7Worfs · 18/12/2019 14:45

Maybe, but as PP said, she does look like she’s trying hard, and very aware of how she’s coming across.
Or maybe it’s my wishful thinking, that I do hope they’re happy. Crown Smile

itswinetime · 18/12/2019 14:47

There were other touches in the documentary and she didn't flinch so I don't think it's pdas touching in general. It was either a surprise or something completely unrelated. Maybe one of the people they were talking to will shed some light!

Lovely Christmas card from the Cambridge's.
Can anyone else see a young Philip in George & Charlotte?
I can see more of Diana emerging too.

Re that completely normal shrug type movement that has it's own thread (I think Kate was either surprised or just fidgety)
I said (mainly in response to posters writing Katherine instead of Catherine as hate when people get names wrong when they know the correct version/pronounciation)

Kate is cross because people keep referring to her as Katherine when her name is actually spelt Catherine.
William told Kate to not get worked up about it & this made Kate mad as its alright for William as he's got lots of different names (Wills, Will, Prince, Duke, HRH, Mr Wales, Mr Cambridge, Mr Mountbatten-Windsor) so he doesn't care if people get it wrong.
This disagreement occurred in the car on the way to film the show.
I also do not know for a fact that William is skating on very thin ice as he also teased Kate about the time her Victoria Sponge collapsed & reminded her of the time she dropped the tray of drinks whilst whilst doing her part time waitressing job at University.
Kate then retorted that at least she could cook more than just a full English.
William replied that her roast chicken wasn't as good as Meghan & Harry's.
Kate said at least I can make bloody gravy from scratch unlike your brother & his oxo cube!

This is the real reason why the brothers aren't as close : roast dinners, gravy & being called the wrong name Crown Grin

Re the Kate / Catherine thing, one of my friends was a year or so above her at Marlborough and referred to her as Catherine when I nosily asked about her (probably 10 years ago now) and said she was “sound”.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 18/12/2019 15:06

Kate's far more forgiving than me 😂

7Worfs · 18/12/2019 15:12

I can see Carole M instilling Catherine (not Kate).
It’s aspirational - just like Ginger Spice becoming Geraldine. Xmas Wink

Spudlet · 18/12/2019 15:56

Is CPV wearing a Dior New Look-esque skirt suit? I like it from what I can see on my little phone screen!

mumdom · 18/12/2019 16:01

That tartan Emilia Wickstead dress is the most hideous thing I’ve seen in my life, and Kate has form for ugly frocks. It’s very Grayson Perry.

mumdom · 18/12/2019 16:07

In my younger and thinner days i tried on an Emilia Wickstead dress in Selfridges. It was £800 and the seams didn’t even align correctly.

I hope Kate’s getting her frocks for free because I’m livid if she’s spent £2k of our tax money on a dress that looks like a car blanket.

ajandjjmum · 18/12/2019 16:19

It won't be our money mumdom - it'll be her FIL who's paying.

mumdom · 18/12/2019 16:23

Always feel all that Duchy ofCornwall private wealth business is a historical myth that has been fed to us to stop questioning the Princes of Wales, who have always been notorious spendthrifts.

thisenglishlife · 18/12/2019 16:25

The children were also pictured in the same car.

Eugenie's hair looks a bit brittle and unhealthy to me.

I can't see any of the royals in George tbh, he's still pure Pa Middleton to me. Harry is the one most like the DoE and Edward's resemblance to HM is getting more obvious as he gets older. All he needs is a wig, some face powder and a Launer handbag and no one would be any the wiser!

OP posts:
QueenOfTheAndals · 18/12/2019 16:33

Actually, seeing those photos together I think Louis resembles Eugenie.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 18/12/2019 16:47

The Cambridge children look like they are really excited......net it’s a boring affair for them.,

QueenOfTheAndals · 18/12/2019 16:51

George and Charlotte look like Kate has just told them to quieten down or no Cbeebies!

OP posts:
astralweaks · 18/12/2019 16:57

Louis is really like Kate’s father.

itswinetime · 18/12/2019 17:01

Who as driving Kate and the kids home was it William or security Wine Wink

hopeishere · 18/12/2019 17:35

It was William driving them home.

queenofarles · 18/12/2019 17:37

Kate looks a bit merry Wine Wink

BigGreenOlives · 18/12/2019 17:40

Charlotte looks really cross in that picture of them going home, quite funny really.

Eugenie and Beatrice must feel under so much pressure, none of their father or mother's sins are their fault at all. I can imagine the girls feeling very stressed, which usually ruins hair/skin.

This ^^

My word, that's an ugly dress 🤦🏽‍♀️.

Off to hunt out the Christmas card now.

Laiste · 18/12/2019 18:08

The grumpy kids faces in the car made me smile to be honest. They obviously had the hump about something and mum has had to say her bit. Now that is the real 'normal' living Grin

I'm trying but i really can't picture Kate getting merry. I guess she does relax when out of the limelight but it's hard to picture.
