Or this decade?

Since it's coming to the end of the year and also decade.

I was reminded how good Anne French Deep Cleansing Milk is by these boards.

I was recommended products by The Ordinary on here earlier this year and they have really improved my skin.

SpeckledyHen · 05/12/2019 18:40

I wouldn’t have dreamt of using Superdrug own brand stuff, but love the vitamin E collection.

tobee · 05/12/2019 21:54

Yay! Replies! I'd given up hope. Grin

Snap @SpeckledyHen

I also discovered primark make up which I was snobby about but I’m actually really impressed with

happytobemrsg · 05/12/2019 22:05

To make outfits less twee by adding more masculine touches e.g leather jacket on top of a dress instead of a ladylike cardigan. Sounds obvious but once I read this it was like everything clicked

SteelRiver · 05/12/2019 22:32

I'm pretty sure that it was here in S&B that I read about the Kinvara eye serum. Thank you to the poster who mentioned it. I love it!

Also, I recently discovered some fab Uniqlo trousers via this board. The quality seems good and they are great value. I'm really pleased with them.

Oh and the is one more! A retinol product by The Ordinary. I can't remember its full name but it's a red colour. I've noticed a real difference in my skin.

Karcheer · 05/12/2019 22:37

My skincare regime has been completely redesigned and my skin has never been better.

NaomiShapiro · 05/12/2019 23:13

Vit E range from Superdrug here too

Ladybirdbookworm · 06/12/2019 01:32

So many over the last few years.....I really love the Style and Beauty pages.
Found Sali Hughes, Caroline Hirons and Lisa Elridge through PPs recommendations.
The joy of a Philips Lumea - life-changing.
Double cleansing.
Body shop chamomile cleansing balm.
Christian Dior Glow nail polish - a sort of pinky blue clear varnish.
Bar soap instead of detergent filled liquid soap and shower gel ( I will never go back)
M&S leggings.
Uniqlo white T-shirts.
The joy of a vintage leather jacket.
Bourgois blushes in the little pots.

I've also realised how people's tastes differ dramatically. Especially in posts asking what we all think of an outfit.

I've also discovered that Molecule 1 fragrance is a weird one . I suspected it was a bit Emporers New Clothes and then a friend unexpectedly said I smelled lovely. I can't decide if it was a fluke and now come to think of it I haven't used it since ....I'll have to have a retry and post back.

Sarcelle · 06/12/2019 08:21

@Ladybirdbookworm The M & S leggings, which ones? What makes them so good?

Writersblock2 · 06/12/2019 08:27

Zaggora trousers, which I really like. And advent calendar threads...not so much learning but they’re a blast!

tobee · 06/12/2019 19:42

Any other takers?

I really started this thread to see what I missed...

OP posts:
homemadecommunistrussia · 06/12/2019 20:16

I am liking the look of those zaggora trousers, what's the sizing like?

BooHaa · 06/12/2019 20:34

Babyliss Big Hair
Maybelline Dream Urban Cover (IT cosmetics CC Dupe)
NYX dewy setting spray
Rapid Lash et al
Lumea, though I'm yet to buy but wouldn't have been aware of
The Ordinary

OldGrinch · 06/12/2019 20:38

Sorry what is this Lumea please? What does it do?

peaceanddove · 06/12/2019 20:43

Wearing ankle boots with dresses to make them look slightly less girly and prim. Revolutionary for me.

Perfume Parlour. I should be on commission because I have converted so many friends. Their Jo Malone dupes are even better than the real thing.

How to properly cuff trousers so they look neat and stylish with ankle boots.

tobee · 06/12/2019 20:51

Oh yeah Perfume Parlour!

managedmis · 06/12/2019 20:52

Vaseline on face before bed

Villagegreenpreservation · 06/12/2019 22:03

Primark concealer. It’s so so good. Only just bought it but it makes my skin look way better

TheMarbleFaun · 06/12/2019 22:52

That is ok to buy something just because you love it even if it was hideously expensive

Talk to me about cuffing trousers please peace

Chilledout11 · 06/12/2019 22:59

I've just bought a lumea on the back threads over the past 12 months.
I didn't like the babyliss hair.
Loccitane almond shower gel. Just love it.

Chilledout11 · 06/12/2019 23:00

oldgrinch the lumea is a hair removal device for long lasting/ permanent hair removal using laser
