Or this decade?

Since it's coming to the end of the year and also decade.

I was reminded how good Anne French Deep Cleansing Milk is by these boards.

@riverrunsred Very glory & illuminating on my skin, and light too. Foundation goes on beautifully afterwards.

Chilli18 · 08/12/2019 12:50

After struggling with my skin since my teens (im now 40) i have to say the ordinary skincare has literally changed my skin and life!!!! Thankyou to all of you on here who recommended it

riverrunsred · 08/12/2019 13:04

@TerpsichoreanMuse Thanks so much. I'm going to give it a go.

Flurgle · 08/12/2019 13:05

Becca backlight primer.
Almost makes me look aliveSmile

Beketaten · 08/12/2019 14:47

Not glamorous, but the tips about washing with proper soap and a flannel, and the effective antiperspirants that come in boxes for about £5.

@Beketaten What are those boxes please? I haven’t heard of them.

Timepasses · 08/12/2019 19:49

@BillieEilish which products from The Ordinary do you use?

MoltoAgitato · 08/12/2019 19:51

peaceanddove Link to the trouser cuffing video please?
For me it is:
Double cleansing
Biore sun cream

WhoEatsPopTarts · 08/12/2019 20:12

@CleanAndPaidFor where did you get Soolantra from?

OdeToAutumn · 08/12/2019 20:23

For those who have posted about double cleansing, what are your product recommendations for the second cleanse please ?

BlueSkyAtChristmas · 08/12/2019 20:26

That if you wet a beauty blender it performs better

Ticklemeelmo · 08/12/2019 20:56

Nivea double effect makeup remover. I wouldn't use any other one on my eyes now after years of rubbing and stinging with other brands. Cheap as chips too

Writersblock2 · 08/12/2019 20:59

Love The Ordinary. It isn’t new for me this year but I do really enjoy using it.

I do think spending a bit more time on skin care really does help. I feel so much better about myself when my skin is looking great.

goose1964 · 08/12/2019 21:00

That Mint Velvet leggings are the bomb. I've lost size and they now fit me.

CleanAndPaidFor · 08/12/2019 21:10

@WhoEatsPopTarts the Independent Pharmacy online. From memory it was £38 but that has lasted me nearly a year.

Lndnmummy · 08/12/2019 21:30

Philips Lumea
Soolantra
Tightlining
Philips Sonicare toothbrush
Cerave hydra cleanser
SNS dipping powder

PeterRouseTheFleshofMankind · 08/12/2019 21:46

Perfume Parlour - it's amazing!

BemidjiMinnesota · 08/12/2019 22:43

@OdeToAutumn

For those who have posted about double cleansing, what are your product recommendations for the second cleanse please ?

I use Neutrogena Hydroboost cleanser for my dehydrated skin. It wouldn't remove make up very well but it has hyaluronic acid in so it plumps skin up like magic.

If your skin is sensitive try La Roche Pisay Toleraine, and if it's normal or very oily try Cosrx low pH morning cleanser.

OdeToAutumn · 08/12/2019 23:15

@BemidjiMinnesota Thank you

sausagefingersH · 08/12/2019 23:34

Isle of paradise tanning drops! Game changer Grin

peaceanddove · 09/12/2019 09:19

Adding a little blob of Benefit Hi-Beam to your foundation gives you a lovely, subtle glow.

BillieEilish · 09/12/2019 11:39

Timepasses sorry for late reply...

Vit C cream 23% (my fave) honestly, put it one every other pm and you will be shocked at the difference. (It stings, don't be alarmed)
Buffet (good everyday serum with peptides etc, special things!)
Caffeine eye stuff (for those tired days!)
People swear by retinol, I have it, but don't particularly rate it.

All of he above, less than 25 pounds in total. All with AT LEAST 50% more active ingredients that you'd pay 100's for.

Beketaten · 09/12/2019 22:31

@KMoKMo

What are those boxes please? I haven’t heard of them

Ones like Sure Women Maximum Protection Cream, Mitchum Ultimate and Dove Maximum Protection. They tend to come in boxes and cost £5, but are often in offer. So much better than the regular versions!

Expo · 10/12/2019 07:17

Tretinoin. Super strength prescription retinol. Forget all the over the counter stuff including The Ordinary. Doesn’t work. After two months of face peeling and purging, my skin has emerged better than ever.

Sunday Riley lactic acid. Banned in Europe. Available in USA. Why? Because it works!!! Ha
