Or this decade?

Since it's coming to the end of the year and also decade.

I was reminded how good Anne French Deep Cleansing Milk is by these boards.

I learned that Rimmel East End Snob lip liner is like a pillow Talk but even better - slighter less 'flat'

thespellhasbeenbroken123 · 07/12/2019 03:32

@Karcheer what's your routine now?
I currently use wet wipes but I can't get way with that anymore
But don't know where to start ??

Writersblock2 · 07/12/2019 04:20

@homemadecommunistrussia maybe a little big. They are SO comfy. I bought the apartment pants to wear on a flight but I’ve since worn them to work loads too. Love them.

Straightintoit · 07/12/2019 04:33

Ooh great thread. It was haunting this place that encouraged me to get my eyes lasered and I’m so glad every day that I did.
wanders off to consider where the hell my leather jacket went

dudsville · 07/12/2019 06:06

Not this year, but I've learned to:
Kondo my wardrobe
Manage my shopping addiction
Shop more smartly
Find trends I like that I wouldn't come across in my own life
The Ordinary

Things I learned that I do not like:
The babyliss roller brush thing
The heated hair brush

NigellasGuest · 07/12/2019 06:25

Cerave moisturiser!

ThePawtriarchy · 07/12/2019 06:35

@Ladybirdbookworm you might want to stock up on Bourjois as it’s being discontinued in the U.K., just in case you haven’t seen Smile

Spinderellacutituponetime · 07/12/2019 06:52

@Destinysdaughter what’s curly girl method?

CleanAndPaidFor · 07/12/2019 07:18

I read about Soolantra for rosacea and it is marvellous!

Goslowlysideways · 07/12/2019 07:34

Chantelle soft stretch padded crop bra. Thank you for the recommendation. It is wonderful, comfortable and supportive.
The Ordinary
Tubing mascara
So many things.

riverrunsred · 07/12/2019 08:14

Superdrug Natural Radiance range - my skin is incredible since using their glycolic stuff and serum / moisturiser

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation - perfect light coverage with a glow

Double cleansing

Hourglass ambient lighting powders

peaceanddove · 07/12/2019 10:18

TheMarbleFaun I watched a few videos on Pinterest on how to cuff your trousers depending on what style shoes/boots you're wearing. It was an epiphany. Can't believe I actually used to stretch my jeans over the tops of my ankle boots, or just let them puddle messily around my ankles the horror

agteacht · 07/12/2019 10:46

Never heard of the Ordinary, so many of you mentioning it - I will have to look it up!

Destinysdaughter · 07/12/2019 14:47

Curly girl method is a way of helping manage curly or wavy hair better.

MaJoady · 07/12/2019 17:17

Batoko swimwear! Doesn't at all fit in with the usual "how to look expensive" MN style threads, but the quality is amazing and they are so flattering (despite the bright prints). I love mine so much.

TerpsichoreanMuse · 08/12/2019 08:02

M&S Luminosity primer - www.marksandspencer.com/luminosity-radiant-skin-primer-30ml/p/p22510008

riverrunsred · 08/12/2019 09:38

@TerpsichoreanMuse I'm after a new primer so thanks for the recommendation. Is it nice and glowy? I find some primers sit in my pores too and can make my face look a bit 'heavy'. I might give this one a try.

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 08/12/2019 09:42

Isle of Paradise tanning drops. I love them because my legs can now match my naturally tanned top half Smile

jewel1968 · 08/12/2019 09:53

Primark Makeup - a revelation
Vit C cleansing oil from superfacialist
Vaniqa - think I first read about it here
Vit E from superdrug

QueenoftheNowhereverse · 08/12/2019 10:43

The Ordinary
Double cleansing
Biore Watery Essence
cosrx pimple patches for DH

I’m not big on bloggers and influencers as often there’s a sales pitch so S&B (plus the Facebook groups Mrs Gloss & The Goss - excluding the affiliate links - and Sali Hughes Get the Look) are my hangouts

BillieEilish · 08/12/2019 10:48

The Ordinary, without a single doubt.

Used to spend 100's on really expensive products.
