Or this decade?

Since it's coming to the end of the year and also decade.

I was reminded how good Anne French Deep Cleansing Milk is by these boards.

This year.... not so much, I'm not sure why. I love the daily style thread and the pics people post where you can see clothes on "real" bodies, and the style ideas from the old french fashion threads. But otherwise, this year I've had more hits than misses S&B wise. Ie It CC cream which was a greasy mess after a few hours, eyelash growth stuff made my eyelids swell etc.

But from previous year or two: the Ordinary, Topshop jeans, Baukjen knitwear and loads of brands I would never have looked at.

sarcelle

The m&s leggings are high waisted, thick and very stretchy.
They come in loads of different styles and they are really flattering.
They range from about £19 .
I honestly love them

I love my Philips Lumea . I was shaving my underarm twice a day in summer and now I go about a month with just a quick swipe over and my underarm are smooth and no longer have that sort of greyish tint.

The best toner which I always go back to is Boots Rose and Glycerin water.
It's dead cheap and smells divine. Its also really moisturising.
No matter what brand I'm using I still always have a bottle of this to hand.

I've been to Primark today and bought 2 lipsticks, a lip liner, a palette of eyeshadow and a facial mist all for 11 quid....I had a quick play about with them and hey they seem really nice.

Definitely Soolantra. I get it on prescription from my GP

Lots of things over the years.

Strength training (it has changed my life).
The Ordinary skincare.
the Brain Over Binge book
Oven Mate
Bra intervention
Soupdragon's flapjacks

I still don't like lemon drizzle cake though Grin

I’m wondering about those zaggora trousers. Italian luxury material? Doesn’t specify what is in there.

In the spirit of sharing, as the decade draws to a close, do people really not know that in order to return a parcel you should turn the bag inside out?? I’ve lost count of times I’ve seen the addressee label crossed out and a new one stuck clumsily making it harder to read. Turn the bag inside out and hey presto clean sheet plus the the sticky tab to reseal. 😊

@18CleanAndPaidFor can you tell me more about Soolantra please?

shadyzadie · 26/12/2019 09:08

S&B is my absolute go to for beauty tips. Don't bother with bloggers, Instagram etc. I have learnt so much and (imho) my skin looks better at 44 than it did at 34 Grin Without S&B I wouldn't know about:

Double cleansing
Pixi glow tonic (my tip is just splash some on your hands to apply - bottle lasts for months that way)
The Ordinary (AHA/BHA treatment)
Profhilo
Dermaplaning at home
Tight lining (I cannot do eyeliner so this was a game changer for me)
Hourglass ambient lighting - I use diffused light every day, it's fab
Bobbi brown under eye colour corrector before concealer
