Kali, I've got a tea tonique sample, I can post it to you if you PM me your address. It's nice but I already have other bergamot perfumes. I'm not sure if it's the best time of year to give it a fair shot though, I'm wearing Eau de Memo today which is similar and it's just all wrong for the weather!

I've got a 9ml tea tonique rollerball if anyone wants it

Have just been decanting for the calendar and hit one of those bottles that just won't play nicely. You know, where the spray mechanism is so fierce it pushes more perfume out of the bottle you are decanting into with each squirt and dribbles down your arm. Then I dropped a half full one before I got it closed. Consequently, both I, and the kitchen, smell FABULOUS, but everything tastes of scent.... Off to the Post Office now.

To strike a sacrilegious note, I always get a hint of old chip pan in the opening of Mitsouko. Is it just me?

It’s very weird how different some perfumes are in cold weather. I have been wearing 4160 Tuesdays Dark Heart of Old Havana today. On me, it’s sweet overripe fruit with tobacco, but today I got strong (and delicious) whiffs of coffee too. I have never been able to smell the coffee notes before.

MrsM, I’m going to see if I can get the chip pan effect from Mitsouko 😨 tomorrow.

SOTD was floral street ylang ylang espresso. Lots of scent based thoughts from the last two days but I'm bloody exhausted so it'll have to wait until the weekend to write.

SOTD MMM Jazz Club. I appear to have tonsillitis. I always get ill around about Black Friday, then it lingers into the Christmas holidays - bleurgh. Has anyone bought any fragrant bargains? I bought some Chanel Coco for my friend with the JL discount, but nothing for myself.
