Apologies if this has been posted already but it made me laugh.

I liked Melania’s cape. She’s like the White Witch in Narnia, except not in control of her life.

thisenglishlife · 04/12/2019 15:52

I agree with @paradyning
Kate's skinnies are always too tight imo for her (stunning) physique

This look was very Marty McFly meets 80s Canadian Christmas lumberjack chic! Why the need for hiking boots? No one else had such footwear.

I think her super tight skinnies show off her figure. But the prude in me feels mildly uncomfortable with that when she's out at a kids party. I always think of those kinds of super tight skinnies as being something you wear when you want to look a little sexy.

Having said all that, she looks great (anyone seen the video of her picking out trees? At one point her back is to the camera and honestly, my only thought was, "my god, that ass!?" with a massive jealous emoticon attached!)

I also don't see any problem with the boots. Others are wearing Wellies? I'd choose hiking boots over wellies any day of the year. More comfortable, look better and just as good for walking around with the kids in this kind of situation.

Oh my god! I was right, Trump is not happy and is on his way to Washington. And you know what Meghan and Harry are not to blame Wink

BlingLoving · 04/12/2019 16:56

I just watched the greeting video. Trump isn't moving on. Hilariously, the queen then tries to get Anne, who s behind him, to come forward.

What's annoying is that on SM I've seen this clip and everyone thinks the queen is chastising Anne for not greeting Trump.

Also, Angela Merkel looked genuinely happy to see the queen. That was as surprise.

astralweaks · 04/12/2019 16:56

He is such a big baby. It’s okay for him to be mean but when the tables are turned he runs away bawling. A joke.

Spudlet · 04/12/2019 16:59

I love the video of Anne standing there waiting. She needed a lunge whip to move the orange menace on a bit!

I like Kate’s festive outfit, and I don’t have a problem with her jeans. They’re skinny, they’re not meant to be loose and flappy. I think she looks fine (not at all influences but it being a more expensive version of what I wear most days, oh no Wink)

Lunde · 04/12/2019 17:19

So Trump throws a toddler tantrum and stomps back to Washington in a big sulk!

Lunde · 04/12/2019 17:21

I rather like Kate's outfit for a Christmas event at a family Charity - it looks a good outfit for being outside at a farm and looking at Christmas trees

AdaColeman · 04/12/2019 17:35

Watching the video of the shambles of the greeting line at the reception, I wasn't very impressed with Anne's outfit, she must have got dressed in the dark, as nothing seemed to go with anything else.

Kate's clothes today were fine for the occasion I thought, boots and an anorak to get the Christmas tree, that's what I'd wear too.

justasking111 · 04/12/2019 18:16

I would have worn the same as Kate, as did the other women there. Practical and warm.

WineOrGinOrBoth · 04/12/2019 18:30

Trump is like a petulant 5 year old.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 04/12/2019 18:45

I wonder when the Christmas card photos will be released?
We haven’t see Louis since June or George & Charlotte since October.

BertrandRussell · 04/12/2019 18:47

“ We haven’t see Louis since June”

Outrageous.

Royal Christmas cards through the years

MotherofPearl · 04/12/2019 18:56

Yes it will be interesting to see how Louis has changed. Will he still resemble a pub landlord? Grin

itswinetime · 04/12/2019 19:02

Did we see Charlotte and George after the first day of school then? Did I miss an outing?

The Cambridge's will do an outdoor photo as per their last few I guess.

Harry and Meghan will be interesting they used a wedding shot last year didn't they? I wonder if they will do a new photo or an unseen one from the Africa tour maybe?

MotherofPearl · 04/12/2019 19:02

CPM is in Indonesia. I like both these outfits. Though the photo of the navy polka dot one is not very clear, it looks a lot like the one Kate has.

Thanks curly that rings a bell now you have said it football doesn't make a big impact on me obviously Wink

AdaColeman · 04/12/2019 19:29

Harry & Meg's Christmas card will be the back view of a small child draped in the Stars & Stripes flag.

BertrandRussell · 04/12/2019 19:54

I was imagining a black and white back view of the three of them looking out to sea on a California beach.

itswinetime · 04/12/2019 19:59

Maybe a sold sign hidden in the corner Bert?Wink

BertrandRussell · 04/12/2019 20:01
Grin Actually, if I were them, I’d use one of the lovely ones with Archbishop Tutu. That was a spectacular moment.
