In light of the several upcoming engagements for W&K while H&M allegedly take a 6 week break!

@justasking111

Those jewels you linked to would definitely suit Kate.
I think she wears a lot of high necked dresses as she doesn’t have much jewellry

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 19/11/2019 21:00

Diana’s sapphires including some of the Saudi ones.

Her famous choker necklace started out as a brooch from the Queen Mother.

How did Diana manage to wear those emeralds as a choker AND a headband?

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 19/11/2019 21:06

Velcro!

MotherofPearl · 19/11/2019 21:08

Loved that article about the Cambridge emeralds - thanks for posting @CurlyWurlyTwirly.

I'm not hugely keen on chokers or headbands if I'm honest.

paradyning · 19/11/2019 21:08

What necklace is Kate wearing with the Marchesa? Is it one of HM's?
I really dislike her own ruby one. But looking it at it there it looks like it could be converted to a fringe tiara.

QueenOfTheAndals · 19/11/2019 21:14

I'm not a fan of that Marchesa but it must be the most décolleté dress Kate has ever worn?

OP posts:
paradyning · 19/11/2019 21:15

Isn't that Kate's Norfolk friend behind her in the state banquet procession??

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 19/11/2019 21:18

@paradyning

Kate’s diamond and ruby necklace

It was a wedding present to the Queen
(Was originally part of the Greville bequest)

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 19/11/2019 21:19

Yes, Rose Hanbury

QueenOfTheAndals · 19/11/2019 21:20

What happened to Rose? There were rumours of both divorce and pregnancy but it looks like neither were true.

Some photos from the Royal Variety performance behind the scenes

paradyning · 19/11/2019 21:30

Thanks Curly

Wetdogloveshubert · 19/11/2019 21:30

This was a gorgeous look for DoC, and another reasonably daring take.

@Wetdogliveshubert

That dress is gorgeous and would great with an aquamarine necklace Wink

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 19/11/2019 21:38

Love this outfit on Camilla. Makes a change from her usual pastels.
Her hair with the side parting is much more flattering

Oh yes, much less helmet-like abs more modern.

I think Kate needs to put her hair up if she's wearing serious rocks around her neck. Worn down, it just detracts from the necklace.

SenecaFalls · 19/11/2019 21:58

I agree. Camilla's hair in that picture looks great.

WineOrGinOrBoth · 19/11/2019 22:13

Some fabulous jewels 💎 thanks for posting.

Wetdogloveshubert · 19/11/2019 22:14

Honking great purse, though! Having just watched episode one of (ahem) Ru Paul's Drag Race UK, I thoroughly approve Grin

I agree, @CurlyWurlyTwirly, a necklace is needed to set off a lot of those dresses. They look unfinished!

Horsemad · 19/11/2019 22:17

Diana had some fab jewels.

IfWishesWereFishes · 19/11/2019 22:46

Camilla is still in private hospital nightwear chic Grin

justasking111 · 19/11/2019 22:49

Queen Mary of Teck, now there was a woman who was not afraid to have pieces broken up and redesigned. She sure knew how to flaunt it.
