Hi everyone,

Following from thread 1 please feel free to tell us about your plus size outfits and post pictures to give us all a bit of inspiration.

Thanks to all who have contributed and made this such a safe space.

Oh the other thing I'd say about the Toast dress was I was disappointed when it arrived it wasn't a slippy satiny fabric when it arrived. The fabric is a little crisper (not much though). On review its probably more forgiving than a slippery fabric. I've had tons of compliments about the dress - fashion wise and of the moment.

I said in the last thread that I was going to try and wear nicer clothes but that hasn't really happened until today! (Been gardening and allotmenting a lot recently!) Today I'm off to town for lunch so have made some effort. I'm a size 18 - dress is DP and tights are Snag (my first ever wear and I love them!). Coat and boots are old.

I've been eyeing that Amy dress up for a while now as another friend has it (and doesn't live near me so we can both own without risking turning up in the same dress together!)

I'm also looking at Sosander at the moment for a Christmas dress as have a few things to go to which would warrant a new dress over the next couple of months.

I think I like them and might keep. This is a size up from my usual. These are Lucy & Yak, XL, which is 18-20 and they're soooooo comfy!

Not sure what colour to wear underneath though...

So not a great photo - smart work day today. Usual black opaque tights and ankle boots. Dark blue Cos dress with black velvet pattern with dark blue tailored boat from Jigsaw.

Any colour, Nancy, surely that's the point? I probably wouldn't go with another neutral though. Be a bit samey. They look great. Use your imagination for me, imagine you have a big bum and saddlebags, would they still work?

popcorn, I think they'd look amazing with a curvy bum! I have saddle bags a plenty.

Yeah, they're fairly neutral, so I suppose any colour...I'm just not used to wearing such light shades, so feel a bit out of my comfort zone!

This is the best thread I have seen on Mumsnet since 2009 when I joined. I am a few sizes bigger than I have been and after seeing you all I am thinking who fucking cares!!

You all look fantastic. I have been punishing myself for being overweight by wearing horrible clothes - I am going to stop this immediately. What a fool I've been.

I particularly like the pink animal print popsy dress and the Toast number.

Go for it Peachypips! We don't get slimmer by beating ourselves up and wearing sackcloth, that's for sure!

No new photo from me today as I’m rewearing the pinafore and purple jumper from the weekend/last thread.

Ive not had a lot of time to engage but I really like this thread too. I love clothes but feel excluded by a lot of people because I'm not stick thin. I really like a lot of the outfits that have been posted - Titsywoo and others come to mind in the last day couple of days. I'm a bit short on casual stuff so need ideas! Like the dungarees, pinafores and dresses posted. Sorry I can't recall posters names.

I have some beautiful purple tights that are begging me to be worn.

I'm going to have to seriously comb my wardrobe to find something to wear with them.

My lagenlook coat has arrived- gorgeous, and such a bargain! I'll post a pic later.
