This would look good on Meghan , I love this coat similar to Betty Draper’s car coat in Mad Men.

It might look good on Meghan, but it doesn't look good on that model Smile

megletthesecond · 08/11/2019 22:23

I always assume both Duchesses wear extensions or clip ins. It would presumably be faster and longer lasting than blow dry and spray. (Disclaimer I don't even use a hairdryer so I could be wrong).

EmGee · 08/11/2019 22:47

Bertrand you are thinking of "andouillette" !! (Horrible french sausage made from offally-type animal parts - it stinks to high heaven!)

QueenOfTheAndals · 08/11/2019 22:48

Apparently Meghan's coat from yesterday is one she's had since 2015 but the brand are relaunching it after the attention it's had.

Also just seen on Instagram that a friend of mine met Harry today!

Jaime how old is your DD? Mine is 14. She likes the Elemis gentle foaming face wash (course she does, it was mine!) so I get it cheaper on eBay. I gave her a Mac concealer that was too light for me and she told me yesterday that it was almost out.....I've told her I'll take her to Superdrug for a new one Grin

Imagine Charlotte getting her mitts on Kate's make up bag! My youngest DS got hold of mine once (it was on top of a tall chest of drawers) and had a whale of a time applying everything and anything. My DH helpfully asked me "why did you let him have it?" like I'd given it to him and said "here you go lad, this will keep you busy for a bit!" Hmm

Lady Glenconner on Graham Norton! 😆😆

Horsemad · 08/11/2019 23:18

Plus Olivia Colman & Helena B-C. 😁 It's hilarious!

Horsemad · 08/11/2019 23:25

Oh, and sad also. Sad

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 09/11/2019 06:42

@Horsemad
Thanks for heads up about the Graham Norton show.
Lady Glenconner absolutely stole the show!

vivacian · 09/11/2019 07:42

I really like Helena B-C. Love her manner, her expressive face, her style.

Horsemad · 09/11/2019 08:26

Haha, Curly, she was VERY entertaining, wasn't she?! 😆

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 09/11/2019 08:58

I know; the story about her wedding night ShockGrin
On the strength of that I might buy the book!

Horsemad · 09/11/2019 09:05

Lol, me too! 😆

Catrescue1971 · 09/11/2019 09:37

Just watched Graham Norton on Iplayer - fab! Now reading the Lady in Waiting book - I am officially a royal book tart having jumped from The Other Side of the Coin without finishing to this - which sounds juicier.

StCharlotte · 09/11/2019 10:05

I'm not too bothered by long hair but I hate it when it looks stringy and ratty. Even on little girls, I just feel an itch to give it a good cut.

Like I did to my nieces? Yeah, don't do that. Confused

Catrescue1971 · 09/11/2019 10:12

I am now many pages into the new book. It is a really good read. One of those that you get straight into, full of info about Holkham area, royal related families. Anne Glenconner has a wonderful turn of speech, that's the main attraction.

QueenOfTheAndals · 09/11/2019 11:16

Today I'm feeling a bit duchess-like as I'm off to a wedding so took the time to blow dry my hair and went a bit overboard with the volumising spray!

OP posts:
frugalkitty · 09/11/2019 11:37

Oh StCharlotte you didn't?? Shock

Horsemad · 09/11/2019 11:39

Ooh enjoy the wedding Queen 🙂 It's a beautiful day here, hope the sun is shining on the happy couple.

QueenOfTheAndals · 09/11/2019 11:54

Unlikely @Horsemad, it's already started to rain!

In my defence, I was only about 18 so had no idea it was verboten (until about half an hour later when their mum came home). Also in my defence, both girls looked a million times better. Especially the one whose FIRST haircut it was Blush It's the only time I've seen my sweet gentle sister lose her shit!

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 09/11/2019 12:42

Oh goodness @StCharlotte - I can imagine she was furious! How old were they? Did she forgive you when she realised it was done for the best of intentions?

WineOrGinOrBoth · 09/11/2019 13:58

Have a great time Queen

I’m laughing so hard StCharlotte
