@KiteflyingKat I also had an analysis by styled by Susie (and am also an autumn hourglass ) and it was really good. Lots of useful little tips for a relatively low price as it's all online. It's helped me understand why I just don't wear some things which I really like - they're the wrong colour for me. I'm planning to get some dye for a particular jumper DH bought me which I should love, but never wear.

I'm going out for lunch today so another outing for my new favourite skirt I've gone for ankle boots this time as it's raining heavily so I don't want to wear my longer boots as they're suede. Not sure if the patterned scarf is overkill but it's cold and I love the scarf so I'm going for it!

I'd love a jumpsuit but they always look ridiculous on me - has anyone found any good ones for shorties?

@PalacePaper - I’d try Phase Eight. I’ve tried a couple from there which were too short for me even though I’m only 164cm.

@PalacePaper I tried a Hush one which was fine length wise ( but I just didn't like). Boden has petite sizing and always tons of discount codes

Just popped out to vote. Wearing my New Look lift & shape skinnies but they fit more like mom jeans. Would like some proper mom jeans & I saw a jumpsuit I liked this morning but I really should spend anymore. Oh & I saw a lovely orange dress I liked in New Look too. God this “no spend” is going to be impossible

I tried on the Hush cord jumpsuit a while back in JL, tbh I wasn't keen - I don't think I have the right shape to carry off the look. I felt it made my legs look a bit short (see pic) plus I'd have no idea what footwear to wear with it.

I tried on this beautiful coast today in a local boutique and can't stop thinking about it...

Oh I love that jumpsuit on you @Ellapaella! I’d wear it with white trainers or while it’s cold out, with Chelsea boots. I wore my jumpsuit yesterday with Chelsea boots & got so many compliments

Big day today! Work Christmas party so we all sit around until 1 when the ladies get sent home to get ready & the men go to the pub. Stereotypes abound 🙈

Late night online shopping at Zara last night. I have zero self control! I saw a lovely dress on the SBS Facebook page & it went downhill from there. Ordered a midi dress, t-shirt & finally some mom jeans. Arriving tomorrow. If I keep the jeans I might need help figuring out what to wear with them. I have no idea.

Really hard getting up this morning. I don’t remember it being this difficult getting up for work before. I’m knackered. Changed my mind on what I’m wearing as the rain made me reach for a cosy jumper. Will try to do a selfie but for now, here’s my style mood board for this morning.

@timswifey ( which could be my user name as I am indeed Tim's wife) thank you! Tbh I wear it almost everyday it was a big birthday present and each ring is engraved with the name of a child. And our family is originally Russian so we kind of love Russian interlinked rings...

Great outfits! I wish I could wear dresses in winter but I cannot work out leg covering ( always in house and have 3 cats so tights not an option).

Today I have GP appointment so will actually leave the house! Yay
Dressed ironically today and also Boden did have this sweatshirt listed as a Christmas jumper ( really) . Waiting for my 'sparkling' sweatshirt to arrive which I ordered instead of fizz to celebrate being discharged finally from cancer follow up this week. It's also very hot in our house as we've had to keep heating in 24/7 for a few days as DD so poorly with a temperature I wanted her kept warm when she's chucking off the covers!

Day off today so I've got a piano lesson then going for a swim. I've been trying to figure out knitwear to wear over dresses as most things are too long on me. Giving this cardigan a go today but I've also ordered a cropped cardigan from warehouse - they didn't have my size though so I had to order a size larger so I think it may well be too baggy for me.

Re long jumpers, you can use a thin belt to “crop” jumpers over dresses. Basically put the belt on, tuck the jumper in, then gradually pull the jumper out so the belt is hidden . Sure there’s some videos on YouTube if that makes no sense!

It’s Christmas jumper day at work. I don’t actually own a Christmas jumper, so I borrowed a sparkly top from DD.
