@KiteflyingKat That’s probably the main reason why I’m getting “dressed” every morning, including jewellery, even if I’m staying at home. I feel much better wearing nice clothes. I’d feel even better if I put my makeup on every morning too but considering that DH is looking after the DC downstairs while I get ready I don’t want to push my luck 😂

I'm currently in pyjamas but earlier I wore:

White Stan Smiths with gold detail
Blue Topshop Jamie Jeans
Cream ribbed vest top from &Other Stories
Burgundy wool/alpaca jumper, also from &Other Stories
And my limited edition Liberty print trim Barbour when I went out

I went out! And this is what I wore ( with my new Pink Boden coat over the top) as I only had 5 minutes when I knew I could definitely go

Shirt: boden last year
Jeans: velvet Richmond jigsaw
Belt: M&S last year
Boots: hobbs from about 5 years ago

@KiteflyingKat thank you. It's been so long now that she's been ill that we are all horrendously used to it ( over 6 years she's been ill in bed entirely, she's 20 now). I am 'happy' she's at home now and not in hospital or nursing home, As she's spent almost 12 months in total in one or other, so she can have family and precious animals around her. The bugger is no alternative care locally so I'm stuck. But really very used to how it is. And trying to be positive each and every day X

I'm meeting family for lunch and will be wearing a deep-red knitted merino faux-wrap dress I got from Woolovers last year, cream or pale grey vest top underneath in case of gaping (I can't seem to pin it without spoiling the line), and a floral scarf over it. I may go mad and belt it and tuck the scarf into the belt. Then again, my family will slay me if I do that, so perhaps not. [My mum's "tactful" comment last week about my artful and figure-flattering French-tucked jumper - "Tuck your jumper in properly!"]

Sadly I don't have any tan ankle boots, so swithering between long boots or wedge shoes.

Today I’m wearing bright pink shorts (Boden), a navy T-shirt with coloured stripes (Warehouse) and my trusty black sandals (Birkenstock). I think I’m going to need new sandals next year - this pair are looking rather tired.

@Sooverthemill sounds like you have a really positive attitude. Hope you enjoyed your meal, nice outfit.

Lounging about at home today. My mum will be popping over later for a catch up (she was very inconsiderate & went on holiday with my sister for 2 weeks & forgot all about me!)

I’ve recently secured a new client so I need some work clothes! I’ve ordered those Mint Velvet leather leggings mentioned up thread (Thank you!), an oversized white shirt & a black jumpsuit. Sounds a bit mad I know but it’s a very young sales office - men wear suits but women get away with murder

Must admit this thread is making me try to dress to try new things. This morning we went out for breakfast. Wore the new look dress with a chunky cardi, black gazelles. Changed into black skinnies, Barbour denim shirt and jack wills jumper for an afternoon of jobs.

I was on the first thread, and had a busy month so didn't get the chance to post on the second.

Driving back from Liverpool for the weekend so I'm in in comfy clothes. (attached is a photo of the model not me wearing the outfit)

Today has been a pyjama day but yesterday I felt very autumnal in a mustard jumper, berry/wine-coloured cord jeggings (brighter in real life than in the picture) and Adidas trainers. I need the weather to be colder so I can fully make the most of the trousers though, they're almost too cosy!
