@bettybea that Tesco coat is lovely. Is it recent?
I ordered a jumper from New Look which arrived today. I bought it specifically to wear with my faux leather leggings/jeans and it does the job nicely I think. Super soft and covers my bum at the back (essential for me in clingy trousers)

Love the look of that Cos dress, @KiteflyingKat Also loving @bettybea ‘s Tesco coat.

@Ellapaella that jumper looks really good with the faux leather (and very snuggly as a bonus).

Sofa day today - apart from a brief foray across the road - so comfy with sparkle:

Sequin star jumper (Next)
Glitter treggings (TU)
Boots (M&S)

Was Tesco two or three years ago now. Has been very versatile.

innuendobingo · 28/11/2019 18:11

Dress from Hobbs for dinner tonight
Are the boots too much? Have some heeled ankle boots in a leopard print instead!

The boots are great. Wear the boots. They give a vaguely 60s vibe to the outfit.

KiteflyingKat · 28/11/2019 18:58

@innuendobingo you look fab. Have a great night. Agree with @Talisin re sixties vibe

Ellapaella · 28/11/2019 19:20

I love the boots @innuendobingo but also like the idea of leopard print boots as well....

bettybea · 28/11/2019 20:27

The sixties vibe on the long boots works really well. You could def wear with leopard ankle another time too though!

Veronicat · 28/11/2019 21:10

Back in my work uniform today. Jean's from Very. Blue Gazelles and work top and gillet.

happytobemrsg · 28/11/2019 23:15

Sorry I’ve been MIA. Lots going on, a very unwell household making my anxiety go through the roof.

@Ellapaella SBS said I was an Autumn Hourglass, Girl net door with an edge. I’m following their advice & noticing that in many cases what they have suggests do look so much better on me. I still wear black but I do it with so much confidence now I think I can pull it off 😂 I might check out that roll neck jumper you bought, I wonder if they do other colours 🤔

@Happierwithouthim yes that’s my cape/top/thing! It was part of their Hugg range. Really beautiful but I don’t wear it often because I think it’s hand wash onky & I have no idea how to do that (hence why it’s the only cashmere I own!)

Re work dressing I swear that’s one of the reasons I’m going back to work next week! I’m very much looking forward to getting dressed up 2 days a week!

@Talisin I wished you posted some modelling photos, your outfit mood boards always look so gorgeous.

Sooverthemill · 29/11/2019 08:42

Trying not to look at the BF offers. I succumbed to a jumper highly recommended by @Ellapaella from all saints so we shall see if I keep it or not. Bought via John Lewis as I'm familiar with their returns
Comfy today as in lots of new back pain. Wish I could just stop!

Didn't edit out the background as I realised cute kitten was there. Sorry it's so dark.
T shirt : next ancient
Jumper: hush sale bargain this summer
Jeans: old hush
Shoes: old faithful kurt Geiger as it means I don't have to lean over and do laces up!

Today’s outfit:

Multi colour tweed skirt (Oasis)
Rose jumper (Hush)
Boots ((DM)
Leather jacket (Amazon)

@happytobemrsg the problem is that the only full length mirror I have access to is opposite a large window so everytime I take a photo I am in silhouette - also not helped by my preference for black/dark colours. I’ve tried at various times of day and under artificial light and it makes little difference. Today I am wearing quite a colourful skirt (for me) and, well, see attached. And that was after running it through various filters. And that’s a particularly good shot.

@happytobemrsg sorry everyone's been ill. It's that rubbish time of year isn't it.

OublietteBravo · 29/11/2019 08:59

It’s Friday, but I have meetings all day so can’t be all that casual. I decided I could get away with silver shoes though (this afternoon’s meeting is from 12:00-16:30 and is likely to involve standing for the whole duration, so comfortable shoes are essential).

Jumper: Gap (old)
Dress: M&S (2018)
Shoes: Clarks (2016)

happytobemrsg · 29/11/2019 10:16

That’s a great photo @Talisin!! You look really lovely.

@Sooverthemill it horrible. I know everyone else is going through it too. My eldest suffers from febrile convulsions so I’m constantly checking his temperature which doesn’t help my anxiety. Now the baby is ill too 😓 & ive had a head cold for a week.

Annoyed that the 3 jumpers I bought from the new look shop is now discounted online for BF 😡 brill jumpers though, possibly my perfect jumper which I why I bought it in 3 colours! I did, however, buy a turtle neck version in black to see if they work over my dresses. If not then I officially give up on the dress/jumper combo. This is my last attempt!

@Ellapaella I ordered the light grey roll neck jumper you bought to wear with my faux leather leggings. It’s not my BEST colour, but I’ll wear big gold earrings to hopefully warm it up a bit. Unfortunately none of the colours spoke to me & I have way too many cream jumpers now.

bettybea · 29/11/2019 12:15

You are all looking very stylish today. Thank you for keeping up the photos...

My Oliver Bonas cardigan has arrived and I'm very pleased with it. Definitely keeping, it was reduced in the sale and is great quality. Wearing here with the Oliver Bonas dress.
