And Ella I LOVE those boots. I really want them!!

I dropped off this thread because, well, I've just been feeling rubbish later. But I'm determined to get my together and that starts with making an effort with my appearance. I don't know what's happened to me - pre babies I loved fashion and spent hours shopping and putting my look together!

Anyway today is my MV leather leggings, chunky black top shop roll neck jumper and my Cara studded boots.

@littlepooch welcome back. I can totally relate to how you feel as I also loved fashion and made an effort pre-baby and now I don’t have the time to brush my hair

This thread is inspiring me to take a few minutes to actually decide what to wear rather than grabbing from the top of the clean laundry pile. So even if I don’t have time for makeup & hair I still feel slightly better.
It’s also made me realise that I don’t “have nothing to wear” and don’t need to buy more clothes!

Photo of the leopard print dress as promised. I’m conflicted about this. I don’t like the style of the dress - especially around the sleeves/shoulders but I rather like it styled as a skirt and worn with a jumper over the top. Hmmm. Shall I keep it or send it back?

@oubliette if you bought it because you need a dress & it doesn’t tick your boxes I’d send it back.

Do you absolutely love it as a skirt, or are you trying to find ways you could wear it to justify keeping it?

KiteflyingKat has a point. I always find myself trying to justify keeping things I’m not really that into. Now I do the whole Marie Kondo thing & just keep things I love

@OublietteBravo I agree with the others, if you don't love it when you're wearing it then I'd return it. There are a few leopard print maxi skirts around (definitely one in Zara a few weeks ago) so if you like the look with a black jumper you could find a skirt you love instead.

I’m in navy leggings (Primark) and a knee-length navy/white striped jumper dress (Jigsaw sale) with grey trainers (Phase Eight). Mostly because I’m about to head off to the airport and I like to be comfortable when I fly. I’m might be a bit grumpy about losing 1/4 of my weekend to a business trip.

Thanks for the comments on the dress. It’s going back. Or at least it will be once I’m back in the country and have time to sort out the return.

I am the lucky new owner of an AllSaints biker jacket - the cargo one. I cannot tell you all how much I love it- I just don't want to take it off. I wore it out yesterday when I went for cocktails - it's the first time I really noticed how many people wear biker jackets for a night out Literally every other person had one on.

Amazing! I bought my first ever (faux) leather jacket a couple of months ago. I don’t think I wore it enough to justify a lovely leather one. I love them on other people, they are just a bit out of my comfort zone. I don’t know why!

I have a hearing today, so I’m in formal workwear.

Very jealous of the leather jacket @Ellapaella I’ve considered replacing mine as the sleeves are so skinny I can’t wear it over most jumpers apart from very thin ones. It’s annoying.
