I know, horrible description, couldn’t believe it when I saw that was how they described it online. Hardly aspirational! I haven’t seen thisyears Meryl, but I did try last years, and I would say it felt very similar - and is the same fabric, more or less. I’m a 12, the medium was a ‘perfect’ fit, the large was slightly slouchy, the XL was a seriously oversized fit.

@SoyYo looking good! Love those boots as well.. please let us know if they are comfortable, they are gorgeous. Love the skirt.

I'm going to try to do a no spend October and sell everything I can. I've posted two Hush things today sold via Facebook And although I didn't get a huge amount for them I now have ££ extra in my Paypal account! I have something else up on Facebook and on eBay and will go through other decent stuff a few at a time. I ordered a new bra and the slip skirt (navy) this morning! I thought the slip skirt could be good for Xmas day. @SoyYo they both look great on you

I have another two weeks to go, then will have done three months no spend polishes 😇 & applies for sainthood, I think it’s been reasonably easy for me as I bought a fair bit of summer stuff so didn’t really need anything & because I did it earlier in the year have sort of adjusted my mindset a bit & I do think much more about what I need/fill gaps & what I just want, also really really trying to rein in my spendthrift ways.

Ella boots are “wide fit” new range in store. Put them on and super comfy!! They look the business too so I’ll wear them on Wednesday for the afternoon as I’m out seeing some friends and will be walking about quite a bit. I’ll report back but I predict no blisters 👍

Just had a look and my free delivery has gone too. What a ridiculous way to cope with an influx of orders 🤷🏻‍♀️ Surely just a message on the checkout page saying orders may take a day or two longer to despatch is better?

I am tempted to order the red and pink one that Miffy has. Hopefully they have it on the JL site as I have a voucher from my lovely mum. She would very much approve of that skirt!

Brilliant pics Ella. You've done so well as I know you've been lusting after that dress. It definitely doesn't count if it was a gift. I was on a no spend and my birthday was in September so clothes I received didn't count nor the £14 M&S skirt I bought as I would have been insane not to buy it, 😂 so therefore it doesn't count for you either 😉

The whole of S&B is quiet at the moment. It's beautifully sunny here but very cold - just how I like my autumn days. I'm off out for a walk in the beach with a friend and our dogs shortly and we're doing for coffee.
I'm away to a work conference in B'ham next week so had to pop out this am to buy some smartish trousers to wear. Bought a nice pair of checked cropped grey trousers to wear with my patent black brogues.

Off to Portugal today ( well tonight at Gatwick) . its been hard to know what to take, .. but I have my Moritz jeans (wearing) , I chaminox, 2 santana skirts several (lots of) vest tops and shirts and 2 linen raw edge tops . (and my green Wren).... Probably far, far, too much for a week!! !! I keep taking things out and putting them back !!

Just H&M. The only shops I have nearby are H&M, M&S, TopShop, Wallis, warehouse, New look and M&S.
Anything else I have to go into the city centre for and it's a bit of a mission. About ten years ago I was allowed to wear my own clothes to work and used to get most of it in H&M to be honest. They do some nice stuff but sizing is all over the place.
