Oh miffy i love the red and pink skirt. Please post a pic when it comes.
The Zara cardi looks very classy.

I've ordered another couple of things..... two skirts from warehouse.... one denim, one cord. I saw the denim one yesterday in JL and it's very nice IRL.

@miffy2 wow LOVE the Zara cardigan, looks so smart. I like both colours, sorry! Can you order both to try?

Talisin · 29/09/2019 18:29

By any chance has anyone got or tried on the side stripe jersey trousers in midnight/blue? Thinking about getting them for mum for Christmas as they’re right up her street and can take advantage of the 10% off until midnight tonight, but unsure about sizing. Also lusting after the velvet skirt despite the fact that I initially didn’t like it at all - I’m so fickle.

SoyYo · 29/09/2019 19:30

Great buys miffy! Look forward to seeing them IRL
@Talisin I reckon go down a size from her usual for the elasticated waist trousers unless she’s in between her size and the next one in which case possibly safer to stay with her true size...I have a few elasticated waist trousers from Hush and invariably I have to go down 1 size. I don’t know if this helps you?
The velvet skirt colour I love too but I think it may be too bulky at the waist? Try it as I’m probably totally wrong but if you mean the blue bias velvet skirt I couldn’t resist it either and preordered with the 10% off Blush

Thanks for the sweatshirt thumbs up girls...Black is not my best colour either but couldn’t bear to part with its fab softness so I’ll just wear a scarf in a brighter colour if mid winter I feel it drains me too much.

Gin good skirts too!! 👍

ilovecherries · 29/09/2019 19:48

Talisin, I have these, (have them on right now for travelling). Mine are a medium, I’m size 12. If I were shorter, I cold probably size down but at 5’7 I need the medium to get enough rise. However, in the Morgan joggers, I take a small.

I went to Zara and tried on a hundred things, including the cardigan. I wasn't 100% convinced as the shoulder seams are those awful dropped ones that can make you look beefy. My shoulders are already quite broad and so I didn't buy it in the end. I may go back with a better style top on as the one I was wearing certainly didn't work with it. For that price it is worth another shot.
I did, however, pick up these boots - last pair in my size and sold out online, so I grabbed them. They are so so soft and the heel will be fab with all my long skirts this winter Wink

zara boots

@Huffthepuff I got this skirt: hush skirt

I have big jumpers with roll necks in both black and pink, and I also bought the round neck cashmere from M&S in Cerise, so that should go with it too.

I am trying not to buy too much more now. I really wanted to get this bag with the remainder of my birthday gift money but I took advantage of the SpaceNK offer this week (£15 off a spend of £60) and stocked up on some of my favourite makeup. Now I have run out of spending money so I will need to save up for it! (Or get it for Christmas)

Nash and Duff bag

Talisin · 29/09/2019 20:24

Thank you Soy and cherries, that’s really helpful. I think I’ll go for the medium as mum is also a 5’7 size 12 and I can always exchange them if I have to (luckily we’re about the same size although different shapes but if they fit me, they’ll fit her). With the skirt, if I get it, I think I’d go down to a 10 on previous experience.

Huffthepuff · 29/09/2019 20:42

@miffy2 that skirt is beautiful. Sounds like it will fit into your wardrobe perfectly. I'm sorely tempted myself as I have long suede black boots and a merino wool roll neck from M&S so it's an outfit right there. I hope you love it!

Sooverthemill · 30/09/2019 09:50

@miffy2 that zara cardigan is gorgeous. Get both? I think both colours will be super useful and at that price? Quickly closing link...

Sooverthemill · 30/09/2019 09:53

@miffy2 and I love that hush skirt im hoping it's will be in the sale

Laska2Meryls · 30/09/2019 10:16

Seasalt on brand Alley atmif anyone interested, Wink
I have ordered the Maenporth coat .. a good bargain since it is still£140 on seasalt..

Ellapaella · 30/09/2019 10:45

Ah well you now all know I failed in my nothing new September - although as my Oliver Bonas dress was a present maybe it doesn't count?
And not buying anything for (nearly) all the month has been a useful exercise in focusing on what would actually be a useful addition to my wardrobe rather than impulse buying.
I LOVE my new OB dress. Wore it out last night and had a go at a few different ways to wear it (see below).

You have all been very busy buying Hush bits and looking forward to hearing what you all think of your purchases lovely Hushistas.

Can I ask a question? I used my hush mention me link for my daughter who bought a jacket. I didn't get a discount code in return and had to chase hush for it. Yes someone else used my mention me link and they got a discount but I didn't! I do not understand how it is supposed to work! Does anyone else have problems with mention me ( even for ither sites)?

Sooverthemill · 30/09/2019 10:52

@Ellapaella love the dress. It's fabulous. Lovely colours.

Ellapaella · 30/09/2019 10:54

Did you use the link I sent you @Sooverthemill? I didn't get anything either if you did.

Sooverthemill · 30/09/2019 12:44

It didn't work! I think mention me hates me

Ellapaella · 30/09/2019 14:23

I've never had one work for me either - you're not alone!

ilovecherries · 30/09/2019 15:37

On my way to collect dog from mum’s and I stopped in Perth for a break. Saw this jumper in M&S. while obviously not quite a meryl, I thought it was a good dupe for the price, and an XL gave me the full Meryl oversized effect. I may buy it tomorrow, not breaking no-spend September for one day.

What a gorgeous dress Ella, I love it with the Docs as well!

Laska2Meryls · 30/09/2019 17:05

Like the Meryl looky likey cherries, cant send my Meryl back now though as label cut off..

My Hush friends code has gone again Angry but its saved me £55 as if it had been there I might have ordered the pattern ed Ivy dress

neveradullmoment99 · 30/09/2019 17:33

I still have mime but it may be a sale soon? Get rid of some autumn stock?

neveradullmoment99 · 30/09/2019 17:33

It may go!

Talisin · 30/09/2019 17:36

I suspect the friends thing going is for the same reason as last time - the 10% off ended last night so they’ll be dealing with all the extra weekend orders.

SoyYo · 30/09/2019 17:37

So I picked up the M&S slinky skirt and love! I’m keeping it with the Hush pink one as they’re both fab
Also popped into New Look and found these fave DM dupes which are wide fit so I’m all set for AW now I reckon.
Lovely jumper cherries yes M&S having a great season this year 👌
laska I just tried for you and my Hush friends still there so very weird...
soover my recommend me has always worked so again strange...what I do recommend is that you only use it (assuming you get the code to work) for things you’re 100% sure you will not return. They’re quite mean and wouldn’t honour it to swap a returns or for a repeat order even though the one I used for was a return.

Ella so pleased you got that gorgeous dress! Perfect for autumn and looks beautiful on you

I’ve been looking at that jumper @ilovecherries but can’t see it in real life easily and was slightly put off by the “spongey” description?! I’m assuming it doesn’t feel like washing up sponges....
