Yes sort of diamonds..

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2019 19:54

ha ha...yeh, i think i remember pictures. Just no way. It would be thin ankle socks or most likely knee high socks or tights with zero gap.

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2019 20:11

Bad picture but hush cord crops and socks

Laska2Meryls · 28/09/2019 20:43

They look good on you * never" I was imagining knee socks !!

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2019 20:45

I think knee socks would be fine but not diamond lol...Knee socks under the trousers but in black and fine a bit like tights under a skirt.

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2019 20:46

Its a dreadful photo. The tee i have on is an old hush one and its grown and ive shrunk a bit.

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2019 20:46

...but you get the idea :)

Laska2Meryls · 28/09/2019 20:56

Yes , looks much better on you than on me.. you have lovely slim ankles

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2019 20:58

Tbh, i have never given my ankles any thought! Thanks :)

Sooverthemill · 28/09/2019 21:06

@never yes that's the ones! @Laska2Meryls I'm hoping that wide leg crops will be okay with shoes too.Though I don't have that many actual shoes these days!

GinandGingerBeer · 29/09/2019 08:34

Well I've jumped off the no spend, or rather I've dived off it! I hadn't ordered from Hush since June which is a LONG time..... for me Grin
I've ordered;
The Navy Shelley Blazer (I have it in black and wear it all the time)

The velvet jacket (I too have the Massimo Dutti one and although it's lovely, it ain't the most flattering as it's cut too short and it's bulky )

The black coated jeans...... again! Toyed with them many a time but I've lost nearly as stone so I'm hoping my legs don't look like black pudding in them as they did last year, I've still ordered a 12 as I know they come up small!)

And The Charlene twist dress...... leopard print

I can probably only keep one thing...... possibly two

M&S skirt came....... it's lovely..... I've not tried it on yet.

Back in the game whoop! It feels good, I've missed it so much Grin

Sooverthemill · 29/09/2019 09:23

@GinandGingerBeer that sounds like a lovely selection of Hush clothes! I wish I needed a blazer... but even though you're off the wagon now, you did soooo well

Huffthepuff · 29/09/2019 09:39

Great order @GinandGingerBeer I like the sound of all of it! I have exactly the same issue with the coated jeans. I'm so tempted to get them again but last year the 12s looked horrendous on me. They are a different style this time I think tho so maybe they'll be better. You surely will be absolutely fine in a 12!
Agree I wish I had somewhere to wear the blazers!!

GinandGingerBeer · 29/09/2019 09:52

The Shelley blazer is very heavy, and sit's mid thigh so I wear it a lot with skinny jeans/boots and v neck jersey tops. It's very dressdownable! Smile

twosoups1972 · 29/09/2019 10:23

@Wellwhatalovelyday welcome to our friendly chatty thread. What Hush dresses are you thinking of with tights/trainers combo?

I wore boots in the end, need to experiment with socks!

SoyYo · 29/09/2019 10:33

Love the sound of your haul Gin you’ve been practically a saint all summer and a birthday girl more than deserves a treat (or two!)
I’m going to live vicariously through your velvet blazer it looks so awesome online!!

As for coated jeans I received the Hush black zip sweat and just had to wear it straight away! I decided to do so with some old skinny coated Boden jeans and yes I hope my legs don’t look like sausages either in photo. I’m modelling it side way so you can see the zip detail but not a great photo (can’t be bothered to take another one Grin) but you get the idea. It’s a kind of really heavy super soft jersey fabric with structure rather than the usual sweatshirt cotton fabric. Anyway keeping!
Look forward to seeing your lovely buys when you feel like it.

And a warm Welcome to well

Huff really great Joules scarf and then made the mistake (like with Brora) of looking and found some amazing brown Chelsea boots which I’m not buying oh no I’m not (yet) so you’re always full of such good shopping ideas to my wallet detriment Wink

never yes it looks good with the socks and brogues! I also have some of those freebie stripy socks.

laska I’m in awe of your ability to keep up with S&B with 6 yo DGS on tow! Not long till your Portugal wine paradise now...

Love the choices you have made @GinandGingerBeer
I love that sweat top @SoyYo

GinandGingerBeer · 29/09/2019 12:42

I love the zip sweatshirt too @soy.
Your legs are definitely not sausagey they look super slim!
I wonder if they'll do that sweatshirt in other colours.... black isn't great close to my face c

twosoups1972 · 29/09/2019 13:38

@GinandGingerBeer Hush order sounds great, hope it’s all lovely.

@SoyYo lovely sweatshirt, you look great 👍

miffy2 · 29/09/2019 14:39

I semi-caved and bought the red and pink pleated skirt. I will leave the Brigitte jumper for now, at least until there are some reviews, as it is expensive enough. My fear is the itchiness of the fabric.

The skirt will be fabulous with at least 3 of my jumpers so i am happy enough to try it.

I have a voucher for Zara and am going to buy a gorgeous cardigan that my SIL was wearing this weekend.

miffy2 · 29/09/2019 14:39

I just can't decide whether to get the cream or the beige.

Huffthepuff · 29/09/2019 14:55

Oh that's lovely Miffy! I like the sand one best. Which skirt did you order?
