Me too cherries - I actually feel I have enough stuff! And don't need anything else. Agree it's quite liberating. The only thing that would be useful is some chunky black boots - I can't find the biker boots I bought last year. I like these MV ones but am hunting for something cheaper.

I liked the new Hush glitter leggings but not at that price, and have bought some in Sainsburys/Tu today which are almost exactly the same ( black /silver , nearly identical fabric composition and nice and thick and stretchy ) .... £15!!

Yeah way too ££££ sadly. If a code comes along when they are still in stock they've got my name all over them but otherwise I'll have to keep looking for cheaper alternatives.

Anyway... here's something to make your mouth water at a much more affordable price. Been a very long day, didn't get back from work until late and DH has gone out (he's on call and gone back to work). Can't be bothered to cook a meal so I'm having these halloumi fries and a salad. Omg they are delish 😋

They are from Tesco, frozen, I put them in the air fryer for 5 mins. With chipotle mayo.

I'm in denial about fat content of my tea tonight. Maybe the salad counteracts it?

Oh they look delicious. Must look out for them next time I am shopping.

Well I had a basic quick and easy chicken curry that I made and some bulgar wheat. It was tasty!

Although the salad is mostly avacado and topped with a healthy sprinkling of Parmesan...

Do you use bulgar wheat in place of rice?

Mmm where does one get Halloumi fries?

Sainsburys also have a Meryl ( which I am wearing above) look-alike jumper for £20 ..

Its nice, I saw it in store today and was struck at the similarity

but that's a Hush Meryl I am wearing above (I do have one or two or four )

Its meant to be incredibly good for you [ think its a complex carb] and its pretty good calorie wise. Its a bit like couscous tbh. It is a grain though.

I'll give it a try @neveradullmoment99 - can imagine it works well with a veg chilli con carne as well.

@Laska2Meryls I like the Sainsbury's jumper but you look way better in your Meryl than the model does in that s'bos one.

Its so quick @Ellapaella but it needs to be bulgar wheat and not couscous. Although similar in taste and texture [although bulgar wheat is nuttier] I think couscous is more like pasta or so I was told. You can get it in Tesco. I always struggle to find it but sure its near the dried lentils.

Looking it up, bulgar wheat is a whole wheat.

It goes with anything with a sauce that you would normally have rice with. chilli, curry etc. Its also good cold with feta, olives, oil..loads of recipes online.

We haven't been as chatty on this one... it's been going a lot longer than usual. I'm off tomorrow so I'll keep an eye out and start a new one if no one else does so beforehand.

Ive sat here for some time now trying t think of a new title!... (and failed!)
usually we have a 'thing' or hotly tipped piece we can play on words with , but this AW I dont think any of us have a clear must-have favourite..

(and I think we did 'Ding Dong Meryl-y on high' last year )
