Sorry for not commenting on any other posts. Can't follow on my phone, much prefer looking on my laptop.

I want to buy DIL a gift for her specifically not the baby. Any ideas please. Budget around £100.

Hey all, hugs to you all.
marsha hope all went well
dream congrats
shop I’ve been thinking of you today

To whoever asked about jeans I’m sticking to skinnies. They go with all my tops and I haven’t found another style of jean that I feel as good in and not like a throwback to my younger self.

I am desperate to put more colour in my wardrobe but it’s all browns/yellows/greens/autumnal colours in the shops . I want cobalt, emerald and red! Even I am getting a little bored of navy .

Blingysolightly · 11/10/2019 22:03

Same here, been thinking of Shop and Marsha.

Currently on the floor by poor ds bed. Late night birthday party and he's overwhelmed.Sad

I have a mix of skinnies and bootcut jeans. I am going to the US and will definitely head to j crew to top up. My favourite j crew skinnies now look fashionably slashed through wear and tearGrin

Blingysolightly · 12/10/2019 07:29

Morning all, I had a horrible accident last night.Sad our stair carpets need changing and have been waiting till last bit of work done in house before I change. They were already threadbare when we moved in a few years ago. Anyway I slipped on then last night and fell backwards and banged my head and my hip. Was so awful, I was crying in agony and went into shock. Thank goodness dh was home. Feeling better now, thankfully no concussion but lying in bed this morning with hurting hips.Sad

Anyway on a fashion front, I wore this French Connection fit and flare dress to work on Thursday. I bought it ages ago and it was cheap but oh mu goodness it looked great on. I loved it so much that I wish it hadn't been hiding in the wardrobe! I wore this Ted Baker skater dress on Thursday. It's been one of my go to dresses of this year. I actually bought it 2 years ago but it didn't fit. Kept it anyway and then when u lost weight and needed to wear black, it's became a staple.

libertyonhertravels · 12/10/2019 09:04

Oh no blingy that sounds really sore Sad. Hope you feel better soon.

I need to read back and comment properly on links. I'm sick again ( sinus infection) and really tired so will do that tomorrow.

Mostly popped in to say my Rains raincoat has arrived and I love it.

Blingysolightly · 12/10/2019 09:16

Oh no LibSad Saline nasal spray is your friend and will get rid of it in 48 hours. Sterimar is the best.

I am soooo glad about your Rains coat. Phew! For where you are, a good raincoat is a must😀 how much were the delivery charges?

libertyonhertravels · 12/10/2019 09:43

It was 14euro delivery. No taxes or duty applied. Good news all around!

kittyhello · 12/10/2019 14:16

Oh my gosh Bling that fall sounds nasty. Any dizziness today get yourself checked out. And poor ds too bless him, sometimes it all gets a bit too much doesn't it. Thanks

Lib sorry to hear you're not feeling too great but glad you like your rain coat despite the expensive delivery Shock

Queen are you ready to ditch the navy shirt? Shock I've broken my skinnies rule already Blush wore a pair with my Toga Pullas so happy to be back in my a/w comfort zone.

Shop was thinking about you yesterday Thanks

DryWhiteagainW · 13/10/2019 08:52

Is it just me, or is everyone finding the stuff in the shops a bit uninspiring?

Blingysolightly · 13/10/2019 13:20

Kitty, no dizziness but my back is so bruised. Poor ds, very emotional again last night, this time about about something else.Sad But then again this morning he was very happy.

Dry, I think this might be an autumn/winter of shopping from the existing wardrobe. I haven't had an "I must get" that lust moment although I am thinking of getting a Ted Baker dress that was around last season that i quite like, and an M&S work dress which is more functional than anything else. Then there are 2 pairs of earrings and the YSL Loulou bag that i have wanted for about a year. Just added that up and that's about £5.5k. Okay so other than these things, I am shopping from the wardrobe!!Blush.

MarshaBradyo · 14/10/2019 15:17

I heard back. All fine. So relieved!! Gosh

Blingy ah that’s horrible Sad. I fell down some steps with dd in my arms I felt so winded couldn’t get up, tg she was ok, protective fall! I hope you’re feeling better.

shopafrolic · 14/10/2019 15:54

AW accessories trends

shopafrolic · 14/10/2019 15:55

So pleased to read that Marsha YAY!!!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 14/10/2019 16:47

Marsha yay so happy it's good news! :)

Poor you Blingy that sounds so painful, have you been checked out or do you think it is just bruising?

Shop fab link, hope you are doing ok Flowers

Dry absolutely, I haven't really bought anything this season yet. I did get some small gold hoops from Astley Clarke which I've worn every day since they arrived, they go with everything! But no clothes.

VivaVegas · 14/10/2019 16:52

Glad it's positive news Marsha and hope you are doing ok Blingy and Shop.
I quite fancy some knee length boots having spent the last few winters in ankle boots. I need slim fit though otherwise they look like wellies!
If anyone had seen any nice ones please let me know.

Stokey · 14/10/2019 17:38

Great news Marsha. Hope everything went ok on Saturday Shop. Owwww Blingy, just the sort of thing I would do.

Liked the Vogue link Shop, although the only trends from there I would rock are the boots, chunky & snakeskin.

The only jeans I've been wearing are some old black ones that I cut the bottoms off so they end just above the ankle bone. Otherwise I've been in dungarees.

Am also loving midis. Just did a Uniqlo shop and picked up this Ines wrap dress and some surprisingly good work wide black trousers.

Stokey · 14/10/2019 17:40

Oh and keep seeing mums in the playground wearing my green Zara dress. Is it the next polkadot dress?

QueenCoral · 14/10/2019 17:48

Ha ha kitty, no I’m not ditching the navy but am happy to add colour! Navy will still be my main colour Grin
dry lots of uninspiring stuff. Basically because there’s not really any new styles it’s actually hard to find something better than you already own.

kittyhello · 14/10/2019 20:55

Marsha that's great news.

Queen/Dry you're right. Nothing out there is exciting me at the moment and I'm quite happy to wear my same a/w wardrobe although I do want to add more blouses and skirts this winter.

DryWhiteagainW · 14/10/2019 21:23

Well that’s a relief Marsha ...glad to have you back.
And Shop good to see you too. The spot Zara dress is lovely but seen it everywhere, and copies too. Haven’t seen a lot of your green one.....yet.
Blair can you link your earrings? (Desperate to buy something!) I’m so boring with mine.
