Some book recommendations

The hearts invisible furies by John Boyne is the best fiction I have read in a long time. Will read it again for sure.

The body keeps the score is an eye opener. Making me think in a completely different way about how to deal with past issues in my life.

Shock at Tamara Ecclestone. 50m in jewellery in the house. If anyone does rob blingy they'll have a job on their hands trying to untangle the good stuff from the Accessorise Grin

I want loads of expensive things ATM, none of them even vaguely S&B - noise cancelling headphones, a Magimix, an electric bicycle and a new phone.

I’ve just ordered these boots, a lady at the hairdresser was wearing them yesterday. Not sure burgundy is really an autumn colour or how much use I’ll get from them, but will see if I still love them when they arrive.

They’re trying for Monday, it’s Hermes so I know they’re are bad. Fingers crossed.

It’s a really big dolls house, I have all the Victorian furniture from my childhood, shipped over. I think it’s a dream present for me too ; gosh I hope they get it here. So annoying.

How’s the weather Lib? I’ve been hearing about record temps in Aus (and the awful fires).

Things are terrible in Australia. Just pleasant in Nelson ATM about 21C and sunny. I got slightly sun burnt yesterday - Christmas is supposed to be wet everywhere here.

My DH is easily pleased. Getting ideas is another thing.
I’ve been to 3 supermarkets today, stuck in traffic for ages.......spent a shedLoad on food. I got a bit over enthusiastic with party invites and have 40 coming on Sunday Shock

Marsha fingers crossed for the dolls house. I still remember DF redecorating and rooting mine and painting roses round the door. Then my DM gave it away when I was a teenager. Never forgiven her for that.
Liberty bike was gorgeous too
DH is a nightmare to buy for so knitwear, bath stuff, the Debbie Harry autobiography. Very uninspired.
