Have spent today packing for going on holidays to Kaiteriteri. Heading off tomorrow for a week. Have packed lots of shorts etc but weather looks variable so chucking in some jeans too.

Bringing food magazines with me to plan Christmas food. And I'm going to take a week off all news. The world is too depressing ATM and I need a detox from the madness.

I’m in Christmas buying madness, I only really need to buy my husband (most difficult person on the planet) and some stocking fillers. I also need think think what I want, I was going to get a watch but I’m having buyers remorse even before we’ve bought it...

It's been a long week of being out every evening and I am absolutely exhausted. Got in at 1am from our work Christmas party. I wore this warehouse sequin dress and these Saint Laurent sequin shoes. As you can see i went all out on the sequins! Today is Christmas decoration day chez Blingy...3 Christmas trees, the whole of our downstairs and the dcs bedrooms. It's an all day job! We start after lunch and the mulled wine will be out for the Mr Blingy and I by mid afternoon.

What's everyone else up to?

I have Ds’ party today. Doing loads of prep. He’s 10 I cannot believe it. I’m saved from a crushing feeling of my youngest getting older by having very young dd!

Christmas dec day here too Blingy. Lit my Christmas candle early, put Xmas songs on and, with dad, blitzed the house.
I’m so tired. Stopped work for Christmas thank god.
Quiet weekend here before it all kicks off next week.

I’ve been a slob today, we decorated the tree and I wore a cashmere tracksuit, I couldn’t be bothered to get dressed properly and it’s so comfy!
