Hi Voguettes,

Late to the convo but Céline for life for me, wouldn’t want to be tied to a single brand but C would meet most of my needs! Have seen a beautiful brown leather bag that would love for Christmas but also stuck between not wanting to ask (grabby ans defeats the object) but then getting something not quite right and exchanging anyway. Hmm.

Dry love your sparkly top and way to wear, it’s a definite skill figuring the whole outfit before you buy and guess it avoids mistakes.

Blingy i’ve said it before but my dh so needs lessons in jewellery buying from MrB!

Shop you would be so fab at that job - do it!

Matches fashion private sale started, only 30% for now though.

maradesbois · 25/11/2019 21:34

I looked on Céline website to link the brown bag and got sidetracked by this beauty

shopafrolic · 26/11/2019 07:23

Oh I love the green Mara - beautiful

MarshaBradyo · 26/11/2019 18:52

Love the green

It’s the bags and boots that made me choose it too

MarshaBradyo · 26/11/2019 18:53

And I wouldn’t say no to the other stuff obvs, the tailored jackets. I thought he’d pulled it back round for this season. Classic Celine will be interesting to see what’s next.

MarshaBradyo · 27/11/2019 18:00

Ah they’ve got Clive James on the radio I grew up with his voice, he died today Sad

Karcheer · 27/11/2019 18:22

@marsha very sad day today.

maradesbois · 28/11/2019 10:24

Black Friday wisdom! I need to bear this in mind in promo code season!

Do love the same day hand delivery.

libertyonhertravels · 29/11/2019 08:10

Marsha update now please! What's in that bag,????

MarshaBradyo · 29/11/2019 08:46

Turns out crackling tissue paper and a baby in the cot do not mix 😂 even on the other side if the door it’s louder than Christmas

Ok two are not good. Tod’s leopard calf hair loafer not my style at all but glad I know as always wanted to try and some Vince shearling lined ankle boots which turned out not to be handy with a zip and laces but weird.

But I do need help on what to do with Tod’s grey suede ankle boots not sure will get pic

MarshaBradyo · 29/11/2019 08:53

Tod’s suede grey here I do really like them but will I wear them enough? Are they nice and should I keep them

MarshaBradyo · 29/11/2019 09:19

Or are they a bit meh? So on the fence with it

shopafrolic · 29/11/2019 15:27

Not sure I love those Marsha
They look good in pic 1 but quite wide at the front in the second pic? Which is truer to reality?

MarshaBradyo · 29/11/2019 18:29

Shop do you mean at the top round the ankle?

libertyonhertravels · 29/11/2019 18:57

Grin at disaster of tissue paper and baby sleep.

I'm on the fence re the boots too. If they were super comfortable I would keep but they don't look as luxe as the price tag would suggest for some reason.

On Christmas presents I give DH a list of 5 or 6 things with view of getting 2 or 3 so I get something I want but some element of surprise.

Local bookshop here is doing 'blind date's books. They sell giftwrapped books with random words on the wrapping. So you buy a book based on what words you think describe a book your recipient might like so the book is a surprise for the giver and receiver. I think it's a great idea so have told DH to get me one of those and I'm getting them for a couple of people.

In style news I have bought GHD hot brush. Total game changer. I can let my hair dry naturally then brush it through with this and have smooth (not ironed straight) hair in minutes.

Karcheer · 29/11/2019 19:14

I’m sure you could find some much nicer boots for £450, they don’t look that expensive in the picture, plus the sole and heel look clumpy but the colour and suede would have to be looked after... I’m not sure they know who they are 🤔

MarshaBradyo · 29/11/2019 19:14

It was so bloody loud honestly like a comedy moment in a film. I didn’t realise. And of course was so determined to try them on woke her twice 🙈

That brush looks good Lib love the book idea

Tg for you guys and this thread it’s really helping me decide

MarshaBradyo · 29/11/2019 19:15

Just read your post Karcheer that sealed it! Sending them back

shopafrolic · 29/11/2019 19:49

Not at the top, at the front of the ankle. I think you can find better for the ££
Lib I love the book thing. DH doesn’t really read Hmm but I would love that as a gift.
miniShop did his Christmas performance today. New school is just brill - he is thriving, I’m so relieved.

Blingysolightly · 30/11/2019 13:21

I loved the boots but would have loved them more at about £150Grin

It’s been an interesting few days Chez Blingy. I found myself semi caught up in yesterday events. Nothing big, but could have been worse. Feel so sorry for the victims and there were some very very frightened children in the vicinitySad. I want to pin a shiny blingy medal on the total bad ass heroes who contained the situation.

On a more cheerful note, I went to the swankiest event ever this week. I was wearing about £150k worth of bling, with a beautiful gown and Lucy Choi bling shoes. Dh looked very yummy in black tie.Smile. The people watching was amaaaaazing, amazing bling, outfits, handbag and shoes. And I got to try on a £2m ringShock. Dh said “that looks nice” before I fluttered my eye lashes and told him the price tag!

MarshaBradyo · 30/11/2019 13:28

£150k! That beats my boots Grin awful about event I did think of you

They were 30% off should have said but I wasn’t feeling the love enough in any case. I so need new boots I wear Sorels every day.

kittyhello · 30/11/2019 17:26

Blingy glad you're okay but yes the poor victims.

Event sounded great and I bet you looked fab.

Marsha I'm of the same opinion as everyone else about the boots, I didn't like the black bumpy sole.

Shop great to hear minishop is thriving at his new school.

No fashion news for me apart from boring gym stuff where I seem to be spending a lot of my time and probably wear gym wear more than real clothes these days.
