That MV top is so nice! If only I didn't get so coldHmm

Shop, all my recent travels have involved lots of restaurant food, so my arse wouldn't like that dressBlush

shopafrolic · 23/11/2019 16:14

Karcheer I bought it in black and wore it last night with leather trousers, black blazer and caged sandals. Red suede clutch and red lip. Felt brill.
I’ve just ordered this years Christmas baubles to add to the tree. One is a black stiletto ankle boot and the other is Anna Wintour.

DryWhiteagainW · 23/11/2019 18:00

Bought these trainers in Black Friday....Kitty I think you’d like them too.

But.....

Did you get both Dry?

DryWhiteagainW · 24/11/2019 08:05

No, not the boots sadly

Send a pic to MrDry for Christmas pressie ;

I’d quite like some boots.

Actually how do you all do presents - Surprise or ask for what you’d like?

DryWhiteagainW · 24/11/2019 09:40

I don’t like asking, feels cheeky, but I’ve had a few “surprises” that haven’t been great as you know. I tell DD, that works! DH usually sticks to Beauty treatment vouchers and experiences which is safe.

Yeh Dh has tried on surprises but I’m probably too picky. He bought me a nice Liberty card holder and a beanie hat from there which were really lovely but not quite me. Expensive so I didn’t keep them. So I feel a bit bad about that.

But asking may as well be me just ordering something which is a bit boring.

Great you have a conduit though.

I try to remember something he has mentioned and not bought which can be hard as he just orders stuff.

Blingysolightly · 24/11/2019 10:42

I am not allowed to ask or to hint! Dh does get me the most amazing presents though each year, he's very thoughtful like that. He tends to get me bling at Christmas and then lots of other gifts too. He will spend at least £10k on bling but I get most excited by the £10 present...it's our thing.Grin

Karcheer · 24/11/2019 20:45

We’ve been out looking for my Christmas pressie today :) my DH has amazing taste it’s just not the same as mine haha!

I’m wondering if I should get a job working for a concierge service. I can choose amazing luxurious gifts but they would only be viable if I worked and earned £100k plus.

Blingysolightly · 25/11/2019 10:18

Didn't you work for one before Shop? Or was it that you worked with them?

I have free access to Ten but I actually need to sign up to them. It's on my long list.Hmm Maybe they will magically do my christmas shopping for me!!

shopafrolic · 25/11/2019 14:12

I used to work with them Blingy

shopafrolic · 25/11/2019 14:14

And yes if you get it free you should totally use it. Shopping ideas, holiday bookings, luxury car rental, weekends away....

Karcheer · 25/11/2019 14:17

we get a version of it via our bank account but I've never used it. I don't really know what they can do :/

shopafrolic · 25/11/2019 16:06

TenUK Lots of stuff! Priority tickets for shows, restaurant bookings, they used to do gift buying (I haven’t worked with them for years so not sure now), holiday bookings and destination advice. All sorts really.

Karcheer · 25/11/2019 16:38

im not entirely sure it's the same it's the concierge service run by our bank and it's run by TenUK, but we have a telephone number to call rather than website access. they sent out a present newsletter a couple of weeks ago and it was exactly the same as the one we received (i only know it was the same as i follow tenuk on insta)

Blingysolightly · 25/11/2019 17:08

What’s the £100k bit Shop? (Sorry being thick!)

shopafrolic · 25/11/2019 17:23

I'm just saying that I can find amazing gifts to give to all my friends that are fabulous and exciting but way out of my budget. So I basically need to be married to a millionaire and have lots of friends with fabulous taste.
Unfortunately when it comes to most of my family / friends, they're not really into luxury / designer but I've seen so many things I'd love to buy (or let's face it, receive).

Karcheer · 25/11/2019 18:26

you could do us some gift lists like you tubers do :)
I've no idea what to get anyone :/

In fact - what would you get my Sil who has her first baby due in March?

shopafrolic · 25/11/2019 18:34

Karcheer Pampering gifts for her. Scented lavender candle for if she gets 5 mins to herself in the bath. Mug saying best mum ever for her to drink her tea from. Bio Oil for stretch marks. Tisserand essential oils (lavender and tea tree) good for healing post birth if a few drops are put into the bath water. Lovely cashmere wrap to keep shoulders warm whilst feeding? this is lovely
Joke gift of all the things she couldn't eat / drink while pregnant - someone gave me brie and I had bacon and brie sandwiches everyday for a week.
Gift of a cleaner for the first three months?
I could go on..........

shopafrolic · 25/11/2019 18:36

Lovely Mum & baby bits in Space NK too

Karcheer · 25/11/2019 18:40
