Wore my MV halter neck sequinned top with black skinnies, Reiss blazer, Gucci disco and gold caged sandals last night for work Xmas do. Don5 normally feel great in trousers but I felt modern And slick amount all of the dresses......thanks to my stylist Shop

I love the MV top and dress Dry and Shop. I ordered this gorgeous coloured top from there last night. They seemed to have moved away from their dull colours and I buy quite a lot from there at the moment.

The purple is stunning.

Outfit sounds great Dry sometimes it's nice to have a change and step away from the norm. I'm still hankering after a Gucci bag but can't decide between Disco and Marmont.

So I was out at 7.45am today I am in London while dd does something. Sadly, the shops don't open till later so just having coffee. Wearing white company grey cashmere sweater over an A&F layering top, faded black j crew matchsticks jeans and grey cardigan uggs. Even my beanie is grey! Only splash of colour is a big aquamarine and diamond ring. I sound like dmil but love this ring...wear it on casual days

Christmas officially kicks off in our house today when we get back home. Our advent calendars: Dd has a Harry Potter Lego one, Ds has a helicopter drone one, dh has a craft beer calendar and I went with body shop this year and John Lewis tea lights. I actually cheated and got the poinsettias last week, I always forget how hard it is keeping those bloody flowers going!

Loving the advent calendar love Blingy I have the M & S one and the Birchbox one. DS has a hot wheels one and a chocolate one.
Sadly I get quite excited about my little gift every day!

I love my advent calendars! My dh used to be really sniffy about them but he feels left out and asked if he could have one this year - of course made it sound like he had always wanted one!

No advent calendars for grown ups here unfortunately - i'd be well up for a beauty one. And I hear you Blingy on the Poinsettias, I bought a larger one this year in the hope it might survive but leaves are already dropping off

He has said I should get some slippers too. What do you all wear? I have some old faithful UGG ones that are getting tatty and they look too heavy with the trousers. Do I just get cashmere bedsocks instead? Or am I destined to be barefoot for style on my cold stone floors?

No advent calendars here except for ds, those poinsettia couldn’t be more Christmassy as a plant could they. We don’t do any Christmas stuff until after Ds birthday on 12th I just feel more geared towards it after that.

Okay Shop, revealing my granny-ish tendencies here but.....cashmere slipper boots and cashmere ballet sippers. I have John Lewis cashmere bed socks and the white company ones as well. In my defence, I get v cold!

How do you all do Christmas trees? When and real? For some reason Dh is feeling sorry for the tree (he doesn’t want alternative though, unless in a pot)

We do 3 Christmas trees! 1 real, in our sitting room and 2 artificial in our hallway and breakfast room (the bit that looks out into garden). If we are in the UK then I am strict on doing it 12 days before (if we are away then I do it first weekend in December). Dh and I are out on 13th so we will do it on Saturday 14th. Takes the whole day as we decorate everywhere downstairs plus put lights in the garden and at the front! My friend has a tree outside his house and am very tempted to do a real tree in a pot by our front door this year. Not sure how the "I want 4 Christmas trees" conversation will go with dh!

Random question. I want to spend around £500 on a handbag as a 21st birthday present. What would you get? Or think a 21 year old might like! She's rubbish at telling me what she wants!

We have two Christmas trees, a real one in the living room which is being delivered on the 9th, and a white plastic one on the landing.
I’m also doing garlands on the banisters.

Karcheer I haven’t got an advent calendar either, feel I’m missing out . Will rectify this tomorrow .
I’m putting trees up 14.12 too. I prefer real but can’t cope with the mess. My artificial one drives me nuts, a pain to construct. We have 2.

I saw the Last Christmas movie last night - utterly cheesy Christmas fabulousness and made me cry.
