Yes exactly. They're so unflattering. Leti is really tiny but those trousers do her no favours.

Love the colour of Max's outfit and PL looks great too. I've never quite 'got' the long gown and hat thing, it always just looks a bit odd to me in modern dress.

How weird. I looked at the pictures of Kate before I read your text and thought "she looks gorgeous - just like she looks when she's been pregnant".

I like Max’s outfit. Very 1930s. For some reason it made me think of Eva Peron. I just think Max should have worn her hair up. There was too much going on around her face with the hat and the shoulder thing.

CPs V and M looking slightly underwhelming. CPV is visiting Denmark and her commitment to floral day dresses remains unstinting too! CPM looks sleek in the grey jumpsuit though.

Victoria looking much sharper IMO (also a very flattering dress to her shape, I think)

I do think a pp on this or last thread was right, of the women regularly featured here CPV is the only one who will one day be Queen in her own right, so it may well be that she has other more pressing matters to think about much of the time. I think she employs a bit of a uniform to avoid agonising too much over fashion.

I actually feel a bit sorry for Eugenie. I have only ever felt sorry for 2 adult royal people!

Terribly terrible carpet slippers!! And that belt is very similar to Kate's monstrosity!! The neckline really suits her though.

Hmmm.. not Eugenie's best look ever! It's almost as though it was a bit last minute... ah I'll just throw on the belt to glam it up a bit, but I'm staying in my comfy slippers shoes.

The look of the outfit is very Fergie. I’m sure she wore similar in the 80’s.

There's a minority of folk who look good in those slipper shoe things (the female equivalent of a 'smoking jacket' somehow in my eyes. Makes me think of smelly smokey library rooms in posh houses).

Very slim, sharply dressed French women in perfect trousers can wear them. Average size/shape British woman in a casual belted dress - no. It does look like she shot out of the house.
