I think the launch is being done in conjunction with the Daily Telegraph as there was something about it in Stella magazine at the weekend.

I hope not with the Telegraph. Their commentators are almost as bad as the Daily Mail in terms of responses to Meghan. Only beaten by Camilla at the Sunday Times who seriously is competing with Sarah Vine for weirdly worked up about another woman.

I’m curious , instead of donating clothes, why didn t JL, M&S. Give away vouchers to Smartworks women? And they can shop for themselves?

I also wondered that - or give money/discounts to Smartworks to shop. But, to be fair, if the piece costs £20 (or £199) to buy, it probably only costs half that to make so they can give a lot more at lower cost by doing it this way.

Camilla Long is eaten up with bitterness and envy that she is not the Duchess of Cambridge.

I'd love to see Kate turn up somewhere wearing one. Nothing says, "me and Meghan aren't fighting" like Kate supporting a meghan initiative in this way?

Meghan looks very professional today - good choice of clothes - they couldn’t possibly (I don’t think - the DM may find a way to see it otherwise) detract from the event or cause itself.

A bit of both bling as there is no evidence that she did saye pW but as she is in the “posher set” she is probably cross that she didn’t

Radio 1 were talking about the Olivia Colman vogue interview today - at least I think it was that that they were lifting quotes from.

Apparently Olivia tried to wear blue contact lenses during the shoot for The Crown, but couldn't get them in ("strong eyelids" - who knew that was a thing!) and so in post-production, some poor soul is going to have the task of colouring her eyes in blue!

I'm very tempted to get the dress in blue as it looks smart but practical for work.

I've bought the dress in black and blue colours to try out. Blue for work and black for sombre winter events.

Don't like the bag as it's open & the straps look like they would snap easily as they are thin.

Watched the videos of her speaking at the event and thought, yet again, what on earth does this intelligent, educated, focused, successful woman see in PH?

Meghan looks really good - good choice of clothes and I’m loving the bangles.

The items in the collection aren’t really my preference – shift dresses don’t suit my body shape, I don’t think the shape of the trousers are that flattering and the shirt looks a bit stiff/school shirt-like.

However, the idea was to create a capsule workwear collection and I think as a collection of smart basics it’s great!
