Lovely skirt @neveradullmoment99 😍 tempted to get the black, still half the price of the Hush one!

Does anyone have a refer a friend code for Brora please? 🙏

Sooverthemill · 26/09/2019 17:07

@neveradullmoment99 I thunk the socks go very well!tempted by the navy but they only have my size in long and I am 5"1

neveradullmoment99 · 26/09/2019 17:33

Well its not well styled either the socks lol or the top. I just shoved it on but felt I better take my trousers off to put the skirt on or would have been tempted to put the skirt over them!!!

Laska2Meryls · 26/09/2019 17:46

All the Toast stuff has gone back.. I have kept the Meryl ( but I am not changing my name!)

dontcallmelen · 26/09/2019 17:50

Beautiful skirt never complete bargain & looks very good quality👍🏼
Laska love the trainers, think the rust trousers do look better shorter but dunno does then add to the total cost, I’m sitting on the fence I think with splinters in my bum.
Soups glad you got some good news with the refund.
I had a very quick look at the new hush stuff, but am still trying to hold out for the middle of October no spend & am going to compile a list of what I really need & what I want, to see if that might help my spendthrift ways😂

dontcallmelen · 26/09/2019 17:50

Laska 😂

neveradullmoment99 · 26/09/2019 18:51

Tbh, I don't get the love for the sequin skirt. I am sure I have seen better in the past in other stores. I think the elasticated waist spoils it. It looks quite bulky and tbh, I would never have an opportunity to wear it like soyo. It would lie in my wardrobe and even when I do go out, its never that dressy.

SoyYo · 26/09/2019 19:00

I agree never lots of cheaper skirts in the high street. My M&S copper gold skirt is utterly fabulous and it has elasticated waist covered by a very thin black velvet fabric and it doesn’t bunch at all.
I think if you love it and have the chance to wear more than once a year get it, otherwise think about it but there’s always room for a bit of sequin fabulousness in a girls wardrobe Wink

len no! No good getting splinters I order you to get off that bench! Grin

laska I think you’ve made the right choice 👌 please you must must change your name 😂

So I’ve preordered the velvet skirt (8 days before I receive) + the soft navy blue top Laska got + the black zip sweat top because it looks different and fab on the model but it’ll probably be a return as I’m not at all sure the boxy shape will suit me but I had to try...
No amount of Brillo will polish my halo now...

neveradullmoment99 · 26/09/2019 19:15

Meant to comment on your haul @Laska2Meryls
Love the blue top. Looks fab with your moritz crops. I actually loved the rust wide leg crop cords. I returned mine also today. They looked ok but they just felt huge. I did love the colour. Bit gutted they didn't work for me either. Meryl looks great and I would be tempted but I find I get quite hot in jumpers so it needs to be in the middle of winter for me to wear. I have my gorgeous toast ones anyway from the last winter sale and looking forward to pulling both the blue one and the red one out again. They were such a bargain. love the trainers and the velvet trousers look fab too even although they are generous.

Anway, I was so disappointed with the toast cord crops that I have ordered the hush black ones. Ordered the 10 and the 12 but fully expect to be a 12 esp round the waist.
Have also ordered the black Astrid coat. I have had my eye on it and I love the plainness of it. It will be a birthday present from my dh though if I keep it but it looks lovely esp in the photo where the model has it on with the star scarf. She just looks lovely in it.

neveradullmoment99 · 26/09/2019 19:16

and @laska2meryls, you have to definitely change it to @laska3meryls. Its just not acceptable not too Grin

neveradullmoment99 · 26/09/2019 19:17

@ilovecherries when are you back from your holiday? How it is all going?

neveradullmoment99 · 26/09/2019 19:18

I ordered the astrid coat in black as the colour of the blue is beautiful but limits what I can wear with it. I also wanted just a black coat.

neveradullmoment99 · 26/09/2019 19:19

I have been so happy with my olive coat from 2 years ago that I bought from Hush. Its so beautiful and have worn it every year.

neveradullmoment99 · 26/09/2019 19:43

New stuff on the Toast website but the prices are astronomical. Really ridiculous. Tbh, a lot of the prints and colours are not for me. Usually I love them. A lot of yellow or bright yellow in prints which look summery to me. Anway, there are always a few things that are nice. I love the little bonnet. Its so cute. Love the mohair peacoat but not in yellow. It looks beautiful though.

neveradullmoment99 · 26/09/2019 19:44

The dropped waist dress is nice but not for £180 goodness me. They are in danger of pricing themselves out of the market.

neveradullmoment99 · 26/09/2019 19:45

Its partly viscose too!!!

Laska2Meryls · 26/09/2019 20:03

.. next month I may try the new Toast wide leg trousers in the chestnut. going to Portugal next week , so no point until I return.. (o its a wine tour !!) then I need to commit to losing at least a couple of inches off the waist..

I want to get an appointment for the mega norks to be looked at ..

Laska2Meryls · 26/09/2019 20:04

.. with a view to having a reduction I mean.. Smile

dontcallmelen · 26/09/2019 20:12

Just had a quick peek at the new toast stuff, crikey some of the prices I love this jumper, it’s hand knitted but £350.00 < books lessons for how to knit for idiots>

The Hushistas flirt with autumn
dontcallmelen · 26/09/2019 20:14

Also really liked the velvet long sleeve top but again, out of my league unless sale price.

Talisin · 26/09/2019 20:19

Yikes! £350?! The hand knitting better be done by blind nuns who have the secrets of knitting passed down through their order for hundreds of years and only produce 10 garments a year for that price.

dontcallmelen · 26/09/2019 20:25

Talisin I’d want blessed by Pope Francis himself for that amount.

Laska2Meryls · 26/09/2019 20:39

I absolutely adore this Toast jumper but £275! Shock

neveradullmoment99 · 26/09/2019 21:08

There is NO way those jumpers are worth those prices.

neveradullmoment99 · 26/09/2019 21:09

Toast i you are on this thread, come on!!! get real!
