Well I love the velvet skirt and the colour is beautiful. Also love the blue meryl but I am not ordering anything atm.
I have [almost] decided to return the Toast crops. Feel they are an awkward length and will be very loose on me soon on the hips I fear. I will make a final decision by Thursday when I have time to post them back. The superdry coat was enormous in the 14 so need to work out how to return it as its not the normal post office service so very annoying.

I cannot be bothered ordering it with a 10 day wait. So it will have to wait! I also love the charcoal slinky skirt but I noticed that M&S are having a sale so ordered their slip skirt in navy as it was reduced to £14

Can I ask a question aimed at the more “mature” ladies... Did your skin pigment change as you went through your change of life? I am trying to work out if the colours I used to wear no longer suit me because of this, or if it’s psychological, or maybe they never did! Suddenly black doesn’t look as good as navy, which never suited me before, and I wear brighter colours. I will admit my skin is tanner due to unavoidable murderer in the sky.... weird though. (I used to get very tan in Europe too. Spanish & Portuguese genes as well as Scandinavian ones.)

@justilou1 I think it's the hair changes that influences the colours that suit you changing rather than skin tones. I've always worn lots of blue because it suits me but I am turning more and more to navy like you.

@Sooverthemill, you could be right! My finer, blonder hair has fallen out lately and what’s left is much darker and warmer - almost reddish, when it was a mostly a very Nordic light ashy blonde. You’ve nailed it!!! (Actually prefer it now, tbh!)!

I’ve never had any idea what colours suit me! How can you tell? Probably a stupid question. I have dark hair and eyes, and pale skin and like strong colours. But then I see that some people go more for blues than reds, or vice versa, and wonder if I’m doing it wrong!

@twosoups I used to go on what I liked. Always liked blue, lilacs, greens. I went to a colour stylist person on advice of a friend when I had my first big promotion because I had to buy new work clothes and didn't want expensive mistake. For years I referred to it. So I know I can wear a brown with a raspberry hint in it, blue toned reds, etc etc but am always drawn to blue and shades of. My DD suggested I try red this year and I loved it

Well I have money now but it’s too late for the velvet toast jumpsuit ☹️ Did anyone order it? Maybe it’ll come back in stock and back on sale again in a couple of months with returns, fingers crossed, I’ll keep an eye out.

It may come back on in the January sales. They have become earlier and earlier with Toast and most other shops.

Soups it’s a tricky one isn’t it, I always drawn to blues/lemon/coral/mint green in the summer or navy/camel/dark pinks in the winter, I look like I’ve been dug up if I wear too much black I don’t like red on me yet love it on others, I’m blonde with pale skin & blue eyes I’ve often wondered if I’m wearing totally the wrong colours or if we are subconsciously drawn to colours which suit us.

Yes that’s interesting @melen I think I look good in red, but I’m also drawn to blues especially bright cobalt blue.

Green Toast velvet trousers are things of beauty. I will post photos tomorrow.. I also love the Toast chestnut cords.. although I have sized up alarmingly to get them aroung my waist so much that I am ashamed to admit

However I love the bagginess of them in the bigger size around hips and thighs

Hush supersoft top is fab, out of box and straight on back, still wearing it , Blue Meryl is also fab, they sizing is like last year though.. I have an XS. and recommend you size down (given that I am a 14 on top!). photos later when i have the house back to myself again..
Am disappointed that Toast have cancelled the rust cords order in the 14 (mine are 16 !! and are not too big on waist!! .. baggy on hips but not too bad really if worn as oversize trousers) .. I may not keep them though , but will decide later .
The velvet trousers in a 10 are lovely , but again may not keep. i cannot really afford it all , and tbh , velvet trousers? i dont have that lifestyle.
i suppose if people send back stuff it will be back again i the next sale.. so maybe the cords wil turn up again in smaller size .

Its great value @laska. Why don't they do it in different colours though. I do find the blue a bit meh for me although I would probably wear it until it falls off my back. Its a lovely shape though and fabulous colour for denims.

I would like a meryl but not sure what size I would buy! I am nearing a 10 tbh so the xs may be too big.

[I am a 10 in hush sizes with the exception of trousers but always had to go up a size in them so a 12 in trousers unless they are elasticated then a 10. Its the old tum :(]

Although I haven't done the 800 for the last couple of days admittedly.
