I know I cannot believe that the Toast cords are a 16!! I bought sz 12 m&S jeans yesterday.. anyway youll see later on. I still have a house full of reles..

@laska2meryls what's the sizing like on the supersoft top? I'm a 10 in most shops but sometimes Xs in hush

Im wearing the S in the supersoft top so I think you should go for a xs soover. I did notice that my last years one shed a little, but after a couple of washes waa fine

I had a nice bit of news yesterday - don't know if anyone remembers but I had a problem with returning a dress to Karen Millen just after they had gone into administration. Someone very helpfully suggested contacting my credit card company which I did. After a few emails to-ing and fro-ing etc, they have eventually come back to me to say they will be crediting my account with the money So I have a lovely Karen Millen dress for free! (I had wanted to keep it, I tried to return the shop one as it had been further reduced online). Win-win

Toast things d sadly i think they will all go back, I love the copper trousers , but really I think they are just too big. __even though they actuallyare fine aroud the waist) I did think of shortening them as shown, and they be like cullottes ? What do you think? . Toast do have some new ones similar but much more expensive .
The burgundy jumper is Toast , and lovely but very fine Merino and stil £80even in the sale ..
The green velvet trousers sz 10 are lovely , but really I dont think will fit into my lifestyle..

Love the hush things and jigsaw shoes @laska2meryls! I think I agree about the toast things though I really like the jumper. You could try having the copper trousers shortened (love the colour) and I think they'd look good bit were they too expensive to add the cost of shortening them?
I'm going through my wardrobe and being ruthless having just ordered a supersoft top and a merino jumper. I have so much stuff from my former working lifestyle and I just don't need it

How did last years Meryl wash, laska? I’m tempted but I think I might be more tempted by a merino Celtic&Co cardi in merino wool. But having made it this far through September without spending, I’m going for bust anyway. Although with full transparency, I DID buy a new bikini top as mine flew off the roof terrace and disappeared the other night - and my scars are still absolutely no sun on them, so it had to be replaced.

The last year's ones are ok , ine just looked at them wondering if they are the same size and they are .
I am wondering though if I will keep the blue Meryl, lovely as it is, I do have so much...

laska I like all the Hush things and the Toast rust trousers but my faves of that haul are the Jigsaw trainers: really great!
On the Meryl I like it but you already have 2 so I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ it depends on how much you love your Meryls and whether you feel like changing your user name

Well my Toast velvet trousers arrived. Huge size 12 lovely quality but going straight back...DH actually laughed when he saw me in them they’re so massive!! 😂
To add insult to injury the 8 in green I ordered by calling CS an hour after the online order which I was told were in stock didn’t arrive, instead an email to say they were cancelled due to ooo. So that was a bit of a futile exercise...

Which of course frees me up to order the new Hush velvet bias skirt totally guilt free. I have high hopes for that so will preorder

I also like the zip black sweatshirt...I think I’ll give that a go too but usually boxy shapes and me don’t get on. Thinking about it.

I meant to add that I loved the Toast top on you Huff just beautiful and your boots were super too soups as well as a fantastic result on the K.Millen dress! 🙌

Finally on sequin skirts, the Hush one does look great. I own one gold sequin (more copper gold than shiny yellow gold) sequin skirt from M&S very similar style to the silver Hush one this year. As much as I love it I’ve only worn twice and I’ve owned it for 2 years. I can’t see myself dressing it “down” with a chunky jumper and trainers for daywear.
However velvet is an entirely different matter. I deffo have no issues wearing velvet casually and at any time of day or night.

Well I ordered this and its fantastic btw. But hurry. There is only a 12 left. Its roomy so if you are narrow of hip you may need to size down to a 10. Mine is a 12 and a nice loose-ish fit.

Mine is in navy. Its a very dark almost black navy.

I have it in the navy. Its a 12. It may be too loose for you around the hips. I wish they had the others reduced too. Love the champagne one. The quality of the satin is gorgeous. Slightly creased look. I love it.

Excuse the socks. It was a quick try on. I definitely think you would need a 10. I could have got into a 10! but the 12 is fine and at that price even if it only lasts a short while, it doesn't matter.

Yes the champagne one is gorgeous so will keep an eye for a future reduction. I’m super tempted but will pass as I’m already annoyed by the size 12 velvet trousers being huge....such gorgeous velvet too

@soyo, I would have paid full price for it as its good value even at the original price. Why not get the black? Its lovely. Much cheaper than the hush one in the charcoal.

I saw it in store and thought the quality was beautiful. Quite thick. Thicker than the hush one.

You’ve done it never you lovely enabler!! 😂 I’ve ordered the navy in 12 Regular and Will pick up on Monday (so can return immediately if no good and try a 10 in the non reduced price in store). I have to go to hospital on Monday in any case and the M&S store is literally a quarter mile from the hospital. It’ll cheer me up after the CT scan and would have been rude to turn it down at that price
