Nink hello hope dd is on the mend now, I’m on the no spend bench as well until at least October, honestly it isn’t that bad once you make your mind up to do it, I did four months of no spend at the beginning of the year & used that time going through my wardrobe & really identifying gaps, what went with what & making myself wear things that I had barely worn, it’s actually quite liberating & you can polish your 😇 for being so virtuous😂

I’m keeping myself occupied making additions to my wish list (constantly updating that one!) and planning ahead for bargains in the Black Friday sales - last quarter is expensive for me as I have two birthdays in immediate family in Nov and one in Dec. We don’t go crazy for birthdays but I do like to get each individual a few well thought out gifts. Also looking to finally get married in Dec or Jan so need to get a last couple of things for our little registry wedding. 😊

Hi @Laska2Meryls - thought I’d give you a giggle.... last night I tried out my brand new La Roche Posay vitamin C serum thinking I’d wake up all glamorous. Unfortunately, I woke up a-la Trump. So did my lovely, very high threadcount Vera Wang pillowcases and sheets. Le sigh.... My face washed off but the linens not so much. What would Queen Laska do? I turned to Dylon.... The lovely Golden Ochre has turned what can only be described as Hare Krishna Orange. Vera would be distraught. They’re very happy. (I’m not impressed with the LRP serum though!!)

Sounds great Just I love a bright colour, (what a shame about the bed linen though) I have also been dyeing!! ( we must have been mind melding..) ..but not orange..

I was disappointed that Hush didn't do the wide top in navy this season (except for the v neck one which i dont really like on me as I think it makes me look even norkier than I am). So I have dyed my pale grey one which I haven't worn that much compared to the others ..
Am really pleased with the result, Am not sure whether i may re hem it or not , the contrast stitches which didn't dye as polyester give it sort of military look especially as the dark colour shows the stripes in the fabric up more.

I also chucked in my old yellow Love stack sweat ( or one of them, I had/have two.. one was a kind swap from Soy as my old one had faded so much) .. I think its come out well..

@Laska, I was going for a softer, more subtle look than this. I’m not gonna lie, I like it, but it’s ORANGE!!! DH is going to be thoroughly underwhelmed and blame the menopause again.

@Ninkaninus yes it's me with the Gigi bag, mine is bright red. Think @huff might have one too.

@Laska2Meryls I've ordered a v neck wide jersey top to try, surprised it didn't suit you, I thought v-necks are good for the large of nork?

Next time, chuck a bath or beach towel in also just or use half.. it will come out much lighter..

@twosouos1976 do you remember if that’s the Ferrari red or just plain red? I really want a darker shade, trying to decide between the two. I think Ferrari red will be too bright but it’s so hard to tell online.

I suppose I could just look carefully at the next Ferrari I come across! 😄

Why do I keep pressing post??? I like the undyed contrast stitches. Same thing happened with my linen - still blindingly white, and looks awesome against the Hare orange. You look great in navy, and the military look would be fab with the pea coat on the ferry!!!

two yes supposedly according to Trini and thingy (Susannah, wasnt it ?) . but I dont know the ones I tried last year were so stretchy that they just seemed to cling to and make me look bigger around the bust..

Anyway for the price of a pack of dye , I thought Id give it a go ..

just sadly* pea coat had to go back,, it was lovely too, ( but too small for them ruddy norks again!)

Lucky embroidered top with black relaxed trousers which is very nice. But doesn't show in my photo
And the lovely Beatrice jumper ( Xs!) with my SS19 midnight Monaco trousers which are fab for these weird in between weather.
Oh and ancient dog who follows me everywhere ..
I'm beginning to see why my mother always ended up in navy and a shade of blue as she got older! Just suits our wish washy English colouring so well.

laska I generally am a 10-12 top depending on brand but I have a Biden shirt that's a 14 which isn't especially big! So I usually get S in Hush T-shirt's. I have other jumpers from them and 1 is Xs, and most seem to be S. Last year I sent back a sale jumper size S which was ridiculously huge.

The Beatrice is supposed to be 'boyfriend ' I think

Nice outfits @Sooverthemill the Beatrice jumper looks lovely.
As for me, well trying not to be tempted. I have still sooo much to wear!
I just cant get into hush atm. I think its just too much of the same thing. I may succumb to something in the near future. Maybe before the code runs out. I do love the gorgeous blue fluffy jumper.

I also am loving a few of the coats around. Would really like a smartish black one as well as a bit of grey woolly one.

Oh and chunky brogues. I would love a pair of these:
