SOTD was Mitsouko, now freshly showered/pjs in MMM Fireplace. Absolutely filthy weather here today. Disgusting.

Still feeling bleaugh.

Not helped by the wrong perfume choice this morning. Tauer Sotta La Luna Gardenia. It just doesn't feel right - sickly and musty rather than the deep, balsamic, vanilla-and-white-floral it should be. Ho hum. Might have to go and raid the samples box...or just accept that today is not a perfume day...

SOTD is Lattafa Oud Mood again. I like it too much! I am pretty excited about the Ffern autumn edition, which I'm going to pick up from the post office tomorrow, though.

I've succumbed to pure comfort and have eked out the final drops of my tiny Dior Addict sample. I need a FB of this...

SOTD Tauer ACD. I did a bad thing and ordered a FB of MMM Jazz Club. I found a discount code for 21% off though.

I have £70 of Boots points, maybe I should get some Addict? I am also tempted by Hypnotic Poison. There are some Tom Fords around £80 in the big Boots here, but they are all the summery ones.

I love Dior Addict. About to go to bed and might have to have a spray,

SOTD was Sofia Vergara signature. Heavy on the plum and woody notes with a bit of vanilla. Very high quality considering the ‘sleb’ branding. 4 sprays at 8am took me right through the day, including delivering training in a sweat box room 😊

Judy I’m the last person to bother about reformulations and to hark back to the good of days etc.

BUT...do test Hypnotic Poison well before purchasing a FB. It really is a shadow of what it was even 3-4 years ago, and certainly at the time of release in the late 90s. I loved it years ago and then finally pulled the trigger on a FB in 2016/7 (ish).

Exactly what I wanted in the top notes. But the drydown was insipid and it lasted no more than mere hours (2-3). Sad face. It used to be truly hypnotic.

Oh no, BR! I did read that on Fragrantica. Maybe I should go for Addict. I wore it when it first came out, but really went off it because I associated it with an ex boyfriend!

Whoa there teta, I am wearing the Ffern autumn scent and it's divine. Has yours arrived yet? I'm dying to know if you love it as much as I do.

I did start the day in Lattafa Oud Mood, which I continue to boringly adore in every kind of fall weather so far, but now I rather think I'm going to be wearing a lot of the Ffern autumn blend too.

My mum has noted my new obsession and she thinks I'm nuts. It could be worse though. I also bought a Tatty Devine hedgehog necklace (thanks to whoever posted about the Venn diagram necklace... it got me looking!)

Sotd By the Fireplace today, also channelling hoooo! I've showered though and am now in a korres one which is pretty much the complete opposite of by the fireplace!

Addict does not work on my skin, it smelt like nappy bags 😭

SOTD was Burberry Classic.

Just got back from another secondary school Open evening and absolutely knackered. Could murder tea and a slice of cake, but alas no goodies in the house . Might need to choose a gourmand SOTE instead!

I am also in By The Fireplace, and happy to report my Jazz Club us on its way. Hopefully it will come on Saturday while we are in.

mother It was me who posted the Tatty Devine necklace. The hedgehog is lovely! Did anyone see the photos of Lady Hale in the TD fox brooch? I have that as a necklace, my graduating class last year bought it for me.

Bit dreich out there this evening. SOTD has been Five o'clock au gingembre; lovely toasty warming ginger.

DP is out tonight, so ds and I are getting deliveroo kebabs #classy

SOTE Patch Flash. Rotten weather and some sad news of a family friend has me needing a comfy scent, and wine.

Picked up a couple of TKMaxx bargains this week- the TF Scent (EDP), and Rihanna Rebelle. Another who received a decant of Scent from a kind Perfumista (so sorry I can't recall who) and enjoyed it. I do wonder if my nose is broken as I don't get any of the sexy skanky stuff, it just smells grown up, womanly and vintage-y to me! The Rihanna one is right up my street- coffee, cacao and strawberry, total gourmand, I just wish it lasted more than 3 seconds. For a tenner I'm happy to spray wildly.

YesQueen I like Cloud- definitely a little reminiscent of BR 540 and can't help but smile at the bottle. It makes me think of Care Bears!
