Have I lost the plot completely with this dress as a wedding guest?

Is there any way that this dress could be styled to make it suitable to wear to wedding? I'd size down for a start. I saw Trinny wearing it on her facebook page here and thought the colour was gorgeous.
Am I mad or could it possibly work?

The sleeves are very very different on Trinny's. I reckon she has had a dressmaker alter it...

It depends how fashion forward the congregation is likely to be. A wedding between a PR exec and musician at a super cool venue in Manchester? Maybe! A super traditional church wedding in the Cotswolds? Maybe not!

It fits Trinny round the bust so she gets away with it. It does not fit the model around the bust, therefore the whole thing looks like a massive tent on her. The model is extremely attractive with a great figure and the dress doesn’t look good on her. I’d say Trinny has had the sleeves re-cut at the very least. What do you like about the dress? It is a nice colour but aside from that, I don’t like it.

It's either way too big for the model and actually fits trinny or she's had it altered. I like it on trinny.

Are you extremely skinny and tanned, with a good tailor? Trinny is all of the above and I think that's why it's working on her...

She has had it completely altered not just the sleeves. She's also had the bodice made to be fitted and a lot of width taken out the skirt.

It still isn't something I like in either link.

Putting the dress to one side for a moment, what's with Trinny's overuse of the singular? I can just about cope with 'a shoe', but 'a flashy glass'?! They're sunglasses!

Back to the dress: S'OK. Not sure I'd wear it for a wedding, though.
