I think if they have a wedding it may be private to stop people booing Andrew.

I can’t imagine that Andrew would settle for anything less than what Eugenie had. So if it’s not politically possible surely it would be postponed to such a time as it was.

Laughing at penalizing Bea for her fathers “activities” She is getting the royal wedding because of who her father is, surely she can lose it on the same basis.

But that’s not quite how it works is it?

I mean they are all in the position they are in because of who their parents were. The queen is only ‘queen’ because of who her Father was. Doesn’t mean she isn’t the Queen and deserving of the trappings that come with it. Beatrice is a princess and so...

(I mean as far as any of them are deserving of anything of course 🤣)

I'm trying to remember the last time someone in Beatrice and Eugenie's position (ie grandchildren of the monarch but not by the eldest son) had a big public wedding. Would you have to go back to Queen Victoria's time? (I've not counted Harry as he's still the son of the future king.)

Princess Margaret's wedding in 1960 was huge, with the Mall decorated with archways of roses (Margaret Rose). The following year 1961, the Duke of Kent also had a very large impressive wedding in York. Edward DofK is a grandson of George V, (his father and the Queen's father were brothers).

I do live a royal wedding and I feel televising it almost gets done value for money as a lot of the costs are there with or with out us seeing.

However I'm not sure I a) want to see all of the sucking up to Andrew that seemed to go on surrounding Eugenies wedding! Never been s fan but in the light of everything coming out absolutely not! B) Beatrice's man's history means from a PR viewpoint it will all be much tricker.

My gut is it will be a private wedding Beatrice is less public than Eugenie so hopefully that's what she wants too

I'd have a lot of respect for Beatrice if she plumped for a private wedding and told her dirty dad to stay away.

As long as we got footage of her and the guests arriving so we could see the frocks of course!

yes I think in essence the only difference is we don't see inside the church the shots of the polite chatter while they wait for the bride the readings etc. We see everyone arrive and leave but probably it in real time.

I don't think the make up of the wedding would change but and I guess money wise it's not the tv that costs money but the carriage ride security costs for the public in the courtyard etc. The big thing for me though all the interviews with Andrew that itv were playing for the 'build up'. With a private wedding we hopefully wouldn't be subjected to that!

I could live without the ‘build up’ - I mean we can do that better here for free 😂

But it would be a shame to miss the eye rolling or indiscreet hand holding inside the church 😃

There's a new Megan video on the Sussex instagram story it's behind the scenes at a smart works photo shoot. Nothing to exciting fashion wise but Megan looks really happy and involved which is nice.

That's a really nice video but I'm sure someone will find fault with it soon! I like her outfit, she does casual well.

Oh I don't doubt it Queen but hopefully the majority will see it for what it is a great way to promote a charity! I'm a fan of her casual look too and as always I'm jealous of her shoes! Not least that she can wear heels like that!

It's a lovely video, very natural. I'm not keen on the shoes tbh but I like her look otherwise and it's nice to see her so involved and enjoying the shoot.

Assuming that video was taken post Archie what I'm really liking is that she's not wearing anything form fitting so no one can makes comments about her snapping back or not. I read an interview about Billie Eilish saying she always wore baggy clothes because she didn't want any discussion about whether she'd put on or lost an ounce and I thought I wish more women dressed like that. Stylish yes, but kardashian tight... Not so much. I love Meghans shirt but could never wear those shoes being casual! Does she have feet like barbie that are shaped for high heels and finds it comfy maybe 😂.
