Let's keep the gossip lighthearted and, as always, stick to critiquing the clothes rather than being overly critical about the women wearing them.

I agree frugalkitty. She is heading towards Wildenstein territory although her make up is very complementary in those pics

Noticed the picture of CPV’s wedding - I’d not paid attention to other countries royals before these threads so not seen it before, that was quite some tiara! (crown?) She looks lovely but not keen on the headwear.

Five I think Albert is a foot too short!

We're off to an exotic island on Monday so I may not be on here much, not expecting much signal......but as it's the Isle of Wight I'm planning a trip to Osbourne House so will keep the royal connection going!

Apparently Meghan is going to be writing an article in Vogue about fashion, her charities and the environment.

Charlene's clothes are amazing. Like, seriously drop dead amazing - even the risk-taking stuff that doesn't always work.

Can't help feeling she's sold her soul a bit though. I mean, she and Albert hardly look overjoyed to be with each other and in love, they? 🤔

It does seem like a some kind of strange deal might have been made.

Doubly weird too, because she was an Olympic standard swimmer with the world at her feet. Why did she make that choice?

(Not judging at all, more wondering - why, just why?... Also, that green is phenomenal)

There's the story about her passport being taken so she couldn't leave @DevonUkelele but I don't know how plausible that is. Maybe she's with him for the money, although I think she had money of her own when she met him. And could've written a tell-all if she left him!

Bottom line is it's a mystery! However, she seems marginally happier since she had the twins and they're adorable. I'm guessing she and Albert live fairly separate lives but keep up appearances at official events.

Princess Louise, Queen Victoria's daughter, went to art college, which was quite unusual at the time.

Nah, I think she's kind of happy, in that there's something it for her - it might be all the surgery, or the fab designer gear, or pre-nup with the potential pay off of lots of $$$. Maybe they have a 10yr deal?

She's no doubt, doing her own thing much of the time too. And those twins are beautiful.

But the setup is just a wee bit chilling.

According to French magazine L’Express, Wittstock allegedly bought a one-way ticket back to South Africa the week before the wedding and tried to leave the country only to have her passport taken away while en route to the airport in Nice, France.
“Charlene had her passport confiscated so that the prince’s entourage could persuade her to stay,” a senior detective in Monaco told the UK’s Daily Mail.
The paper also said that she sought refuge in the South African embassy in May, while in France for a bridal-gown fitting. There was an alleged third attempt, also in May, during the Grand Prix in Monaco.

I guess it must have been difficult for Charlene to get along with her in laws, specially as they were pushing for Caroline boys to be heirs to the municipality . that , and talks of how even the monegasques hate her , she must have felt terribly unwanted prior to having her twins, she probably is in a better place now.

I had a quick look at the women Prince Albert dated, I didn’t knew it was that many! Kylie Minogue was one of them!

I think she always got on pretty well with Albert. And they were together for years beforehand. And she'd already had the cosmetic surgery. So it's not as if she hadn't been preparing for the life.

But it all coincided with the reveal of his illegitimate child so perhaps that was too much for her. Especially as the locals were horrible to her.

Apparently there's nothing in this world as stuck up as a Monogasque. Never mind that they're all blow ins!

I also thought there was a totally unsubstantiated likely very untrue rumour that he wouldn’t release the embryos they had stored? Weren’t they arranging IVF before the wedding to get going ASAP? Anyway even with a “contract” type arrangement she’s stuck with him and the whole mess because of her poor children :(

I didn’t notice CPV’s tiara (?) had cameos, what an unusual thing to wear to a wedding. They have lots of others she could’ve chosen. I mean it is nice but maybe not the usual choice, she was radiant though Think the Order website has more detail so will check in case it supposedly came with good luck or something!

Also worth noting.. the further we are from Monaco and that family the further we probably are from the truth! You do hear a lot of rubbish online so I’ve no idea what’s true!
