The young princesses look lovely and I quite like Mathilde's outfit. It looks like it could be Elie Saab but not sure.

I think rather than noticing the individual, it might be the disturbance in the force of any accompanying security that might bring attention. I have no royal stories to share, but we did once bump into Peter Andre in service station toilets

I've always wanted to say thank you for this thread so I'll slip out of lurkdom to do it, I found you a couple of months ago whilest going through a health scare and you were a wonderful distraction, thank you!

And as local Norfolk girl, I think George's sixth birthday shots should definitely be at Yarmouth, preferably riding in one of the giant luridly coloured snails that I adored as a child, then it's either a cone of chips on the beach or maybe a bag of deep fried doughnuts..........

I’ve never been in a penny arcade or Tenerife so nope and no tracksuits in this house! But I would like to see him playing on the beach, helping to bake, colouring, having actual fun instead of staged photographs.

I’ll settle for buried up to his neck in sand at Gorleston beach 🤣 with Louis and Charlotte in the background with big grins and buckets of water 😂

Playing on the beach in Mustique would also be nice. But I suspect they won’t do that for fear of ramming home the reality of opulent holidays.

I think the children were having actual fun in the garden at the Flower Show ShipperOrchid. It must be very difficult though - imagine if someone said to you 'I want a photo of you having fun' - that was decent and publish-able! What would you do?

AppleKatie we call that beach 'Granny's Beach' as its the closest one to my in laws. We have many photos of our three kids buried up to their necks in the sand, it's become a bit of an annual tradition! We did the pleasure beach in Yarmouth a few years back.....

George turns six tomorrow so there will be a few birthday photos released this evening or tomorrow.

I don't care if he's on a beach, up a tree or posing in a Little Lord Fauntleroy outfit. As long as we see all of him! 😁

It is a beautiful beach and perfect for this! I suspect it’s a little too crowded for young George to be allowed to play on though.

The trouble is when you see someone famous out of context such as a famous actor in local pub with his childhood friends who you are also friendly with & you don't really recognise them, they just look kind of familiar even when you are introduced them (e.g Jaime meet Steve) (name changed him)
Then when you go home you realise you've been chatting to one of the leads in a drama series about village life/school etc as he's from the same village originally.
I suppose that's how a lot of famous people fly under the radar.

I was walking down Oxford Street one summer evening around 9pm with some of my cousins, back in the early 80s, when I am told Tina Turner and her entourage passed us.

As pp said, George’s birthday pics will be the same sort of outfit, probably taken in the garden at Anmer.

MollyWindley I’m so glad to hear someone say the thread has cheered them up - it likewise helped me through a really bleak time last year. This was a sparkly relief from grief and anyway I love hearing all the wisdom and thoughts of posters here - often the frivolous stuff gets you through! :)

This is why Max is my favourite, she’s so beaming and happy and cheery, and seems such an unfailingly positive person

How do these photos get leaked? And what’s the point only hours before when they would be released anyway?
