I can't see the likes of Camilla or Princess Anne being skincare aficionados - soap and water and Ponds cold cream before heading down to muck out the stables, I reckon!

@QueenOfTheAndals dammit that’s me out then Grin

QueenOfTheAndals · 16/07/2019 22:43

The Middletons are certainly fond of their tans - Pippa and Carole are mahogany all year round! Kate used to be too, but not so much anymore.

Camilla looks like a woman who's enjoyed a lot of fags and a lot of sunbathing over the years.

QueenOfTheAndals · 16/07/2019 22:45

Mind you, it's only in the western world that being tanned is seen as a sign of wealth. In Asia it's fair skin that's prized - if you aren't tanned then it means you can afford to stay out of the sun!

And Kate's skin shows the signs of someone who's devoted a lot of time to sunbathing in her younger years.

I suspect Camilla used to be. She's probably a clarinet or Elizabeth Arden girl now!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 16/07/2019 22:57

Clarins! 😂

MotherofPearl · 16/07/2019 23:09

I think Meghan has especially enviable glowy skin and make-up.

Have we seen Leti in this b&w tweed dress from Zara? It kind of reminds me of that Erdem one of Kate's.

Love that Zara dress

BertrandRussell · 16/07/2019 23:38

That picture made me think how very few royal people wear glasses. The occasional pair of reading ones- but very few full time spec wearers...

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 16/07/2019 23:50

William & Kate being teased by Michael McIntyre

Wetdogloveshubert · 17/07/2019 00:23

I really don't like that dress on Leti - it's so heavy around the shoulders, and the general weight of the fabric jars with the shoes, which are very Meghan! I think it needed a closed-heel shoe.

Rhubarbisevil · 17/07/2019 04:28

I politely disagree - the whole look has a Jackie K 60’s vibe. I think it’s perfect!

Nanasueathome · 17/07/2019 06:46

Camilla used to use the Bee Venom from Heaven by Deborah Mitchell
The shop is local to me and the stuff is very nice
If I remember correctly I’m sure Simon Cowell also uses the same brand
I think there’s a shop/spa in London too but the original one is in Shifnal, Shropshire

GotToGoMyOwnWay · 17/07/2019 07:07

I’d imagine Re the specs thing that the royals would have had the best laser eye treatment available. Or permanent contacts.

QueenOfTheAndals · 17/07/2019 07:20

William wears glasses sometimes, doesn't he? He probably has contacts in most of the time.

I must check Zara for Lego's dress. I like it but think she could've gone down a size.

QueenOfTheAndals · 17/07/2019 07:24

Leti!!!

William wears glasses when he is off duty.
I’m surprised he is a pilot though; I thought you were supposed to have 20/20 vision

Ha! I tried Leti’s dress on weeks ago and looked like a sack of spuds! It’s also one you’ll find on sale now - and on the floor, as it never stays on the bloody hanger!

Wouldn’t mind some royal-style money, if it gets me glowy skin! I have tried loads of different v expensive moisturisers and most are bull - got a la prairie caviar one coming up next month (sure it’ll be rubbish). Chanel didn’t actually seem to moisturise at all... current fave is Estée Lauder revitalising supreme + ... sooo rich and moisturising! Just in case anyone wanted to know :) I won’t be trying the Kylie range!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 17/07/2019 07:45

I find moisturiser works better after exfoliation. It is worth getting regular facials though ( not necessarily bee venom!)
Very low price but good quality; Aldi moisturiser. It’s a bit Rich for the summer but great in the winter / night cream.
Superdrug gel moisturiser is good in the summer.

However when I am feeling rich; 💰 it’s Biotherm, Clarins & Clinique!

Rhubarbisevil · 17/07/2019 07:45

Get thee off to Space NK 855!

drowningincustard · 17/07/2019 07:57

Thankyou Queen - this is in the Style and Beauty section.
I wish people would read the OP - its not a general discussion/critique of the royal family - if people want to do that - go find or start a different thread please!
In the meantime I quite like Leti's dress! x

Notmyrealname855 · 17/07/2019 08:00

Boots does a really good vitamin e moisturiser for two quid! Skin is heavy and haggard so probably need Botox really Blush

Also with their money I’d buy Leti’s hair... and tan... kate’s jewellery... Meg’s shoes... and charles’ car :) and all their houses!
