Previous thread

And I think we all can agree that it's much more fun if we stick to critiquing the clothes rather than the women!

Charlotte is always in dresses. It may well be the child's own preference but shorts would seem a more practical option for running about playing.

StCharlotte · 11/07/2019 12:35

I'm thinking a simple updo might benefit Max in that climate...

BigGreenOlives · 11/07/2019 12:50

Charlotte might just be in a dress stage at the moment, one of mine refused to wear anything but skirts & dresses for ages which was a complete pain. 10-20 mainly jeans/leggings

SenecaFalls · 11/07/2019 13:12

I really like Kate's little red handbag/crossbody.

AppleKatie · 11/07/2019 13:23

Nothing wrong with them (the shorts) just not my taste or in keeping with what we've seen in him in before.

I love little denim jeans on kids but I'm not convinced Camo is a good look on anyone who isn't currently on active service Grin but hey what do I know my Son is currently confusing people by wearing a ninja turtles t shirt but knowing absolutely nothing about the turtles (hand me down!)

LaPampa · 11/07/2019 13:48

Can’t criticise charlotte’s dress. Mine refuses to wear trousers and will only tolerate floral shorts at a push.

Bansheezus · 11/07/2019 13:51

It wasn't a criticism it was just a pondering.

StCharlotte · 11/07/2019 14:04

LaPampa I didn't own a pair of trousers until my teens - and then only because I was going horse riding one day. Having said that, there is a picture of me in just a jumper and tights and bulging 1960s nappy which presumably was my mother's answer to leggings Hmm

I did have a black leatherette A-line pinafore which I wore to nursery school though!

^^

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 11/07/2019 14:08

mumdom you say you find all this talk of surrogacy very strange and that people are deranged to think it, you then go on to say you would definitely use one next time if you had the money......so why is it deranged for people to think that some of the richest most high profile women in the world would use one? if you, as I’m guessing, an ordinary person would consider it? Disclaimer: I do not think either Kate or Meghan have used a surrogate!

Erm some do, can think of one obvious example! Bit of a farce tbh.

frugalkitty · 11/07/2019 14:43

I love seeing Charlotte in dresses, I used to like my DD I dresses at that age. She's 14 now, and I can't remember the last time she wore one! I'm not even convinced she'll wear a dress to her prom in a couple of years.

UrsulaPandress · 11/07/2019 15:15

Who? Who?

QueenOfTheAndals · 11/07/2019 15:17

Surely not Beyoncé??

Max has taken our advice I see and had put her hair up. I love her expression in this photo.

Comment at 16:42 on the 10th - what on earth are you seeing, OP, that you think is awkward ?

Notmyrealname855 · 11/07/2019 15:44

Lovely Max :)

Surely no one in the public eye would don a series of prosthetics and take pills with bloating side effects. No, none would! Some wouldn’t bother with the pills!

BlingLoving · 11/07/2019 15:52

I've spent way too much time looking at the photos and I've worked out why she looks awkward - her shoulders are incredibly tense. Probably because she's just got out the car or whatever with her tiny new baby, taking him out in public for the first time, and a million cameras are going off. My shoulders would be up around my ears too. Once that died down or she got used to it, I'm sure she relaxed more.

God, I wouldn't want that. I had to stop myself from physically grabbing DD and running away when a whole lot of asian tourists started snapping her photo at a garden once. She was looking particularly enchanting among the flowers but my word, it was intrusive.

SunshineCake · 11/07/2019 15:58

@MotherofPearl dh laughed when he saw me wearing it. I asked the lovely waitress and she said given the setting it was appropriate. Premier Inn not so much Grin.

QueenOfTheAndals · 11/07/2019 16:20

Nothing @SunshineCake, I was being sarcastic! I thought it was a really nice photo and Kate looked relaxed. Hard to tell what Meghan looked like as her back is to the camera in those photos but I agree with @BlingLoving that any tension was probably down to being out in public for the first time with a very small baby, knowing the cameras were out to capture your every move, rather than anything to do with Kate's presence.

There is this weird video of Beyoncé with her bump deflating like a popped balloon while she sat down. It’s pretty scary if you watch it in slow motion, no idea whether she had her babies or not,

I think people think Kate faked her pregnancy because she snapped back into shape pretty quick. But I guess if you are active and slim it’s so much easier.

I always thought Megahn was further along than what we were told because her Bump started showing pretty quick.

beanaseireann · 11/07/2019 16:28

Holly Branson in a lovely red dress at Wimbledon.
Was she an ex love interest of William's ?

SunshineCake · 11/07/2019 16:52

Apologies, Queen. I should have realised but I was so shocked when I thought you were being serious I had to ask.

There's another thread where someone is saying Catherine is being smug and focusing on her children and Meghan looks lonely.

beanaseireann · 11/07/2019 17:25

QueenoftheAndals
That photo at 16.42 yesterday was a super shot of a relaxed and happy Kate. I agree with you.

peridito · 11/07/2019 17:54

I thought Meghan looked very alone as well ,but I guess it's just the photos the press have chosen .

I hope she's ok ,I can't think of anything much worse than attending a polo match on a blazing hot day with a 2 month old .
