And I think we all can agree that it's much more fun if we stick to critiquing the clothes rather than the women!

Oh is this because of her bump? I thought she was at times wearing a sort of covering, but covering her actual bump as protection (that sounds crazy but I’ve heard of other high net worth ladies doing the same)

Camo shorts on Prince George? That’s a bit of a departure from the ultra traditional look. Do we think it’s him asserting his independence 🤣

Nogravyforyou · 11/07/2019 10:07

Hate to bring up the godparents issue again but apparently Charlie Van Straubenzee is one.

Love the pictures of the Cambridge's car boot picnic! The kids look really happy and confident :)

GrumbleBumble · 11/07/2019 10:23

Applekatie the "ghost of a little boy killed in the blitz" look is used for formal occasions when they are off duty the children are usually dressed in a more normal way.

queenofarles · 11/07/2019 10:29

Didn’t Rebecca English Tweet that Meghan and Archie were there just before the match started?

AppleKatie, ha, probably! I like them dressed this way, still traditional but more relaxed.

Ninkaninus · 11/07/2019 10:44

I agree, I really love the picnic and play photos. I think Kate looks gorgeous and happy, and Meghan looks gorgeous and happy, and there was fuck all wrong with how she was holding/carrying Archie.

beanaseireann · 11/07/2019 10:46

I loved Charlie Van Straubenzee's wife, Daisy's wedding dress. So apt - with her pretty name- lots of daisies.

Nogravyforyou · 11/07/2019 10:55

@beanaseireann it's stunning, just googled it! Excuse the watermarked photo but it was the best I could find go show off the dress.

Reminds me of Elizabeth Hurley and her giant baby Damian

Daisy Jenks wedding looked like great fun!

Loved Meghan's outfit at that wedding actually.

Notmyrealname855 · 11/07/2019 11:25

Me too! Modern and v smart!

SillyBillyBandy · 11/07/2019 11:32

To me kate and Meagan look like the stereo typical mum of three and mum of first.

With PFB I didn't instinctively know what I'd need, would have been worried about popping him down as he loved fuss as I held him constantly panicked if he cried and I was out and about - what would people think!

By DC3 I would have left them to it, dumped baby with anyone or anywhere that looked safe. An also man handled the hammer off George 😂

It's really clear they are both hands on happy mums! Although I reckon someone else prepared the Cambridge kids Tupperware pots Wink

mumdom · 11/07/2019 11:34

I find all the talk of surrogacy very strange. There were similar accusations about Kate. Cat Deeley too, I believe. Looking good during (or too soon after) pregnancy really brings out the deranged.

To be honest, childbirth as an experience is not to be recommended. If I could afford a surrogate I’d definitely go for it next time.

AppleKatie · 11/07/2019 11:40

More casual yes but Camo shorts? I can’t believe Kate chose them 😂 —I won’t let my DS have any—

Ninkaninus · 11/07/2019 11:40

There are such a lot of very odd people in the world.

Ninkaninus · 11/07/2019 11:41

(Comment above is in regards to surrogacy and other conspiracy theories)

mumdom · 11/07/2019 11:42

I really feel for Meghan not being back in her size 6 jeans after birth. I was that mother. Unfortunately I live in a very affluent place where being the teensiest bit chubby whilst pushing a pram immediately marks you out as the maternity nurse. Meanwhile the Mamas are at pilates in their Lulu Lemons.

Ninkaninus · 11/07/2019 11:44

I expect Kate did choose those shorts. I’m sure I’ve seen George in little denim jeans and very casual outfits before. She definitely has a certain look she likes for official photos or occasions but that’s really quite reasonable given that she is the wife of a king to be.

UrsulaPandress · 11/07/2019 12:01

I’m not understanding what is wrong with George’s shorts.

Ninkaninus · 11/07/2019 12:03

Who’s said there’s anything wrong with them?

They’re perfectly fine, just not what a lot of people are used to seeing him wearing as on official photos he’s always dressed in very traditional styles.

BertrandRussell · 11/07/2019 12:08

I think there’s something wrong with them- I hate camo on kids! But better than the “ghost child” stuff they wear for formal occasions!

beanaseireann · 11/07/2019 12:14

I thought Kate looked fab yesterday. I loved the dress and the bag. I'm not a fan of espadrilles with tassely things hanging off them.
I loved George's casual gear.
I didnt like Charlotte's dress. It looked a little too small/ short for her but that may have been the elastic at the waist not being in place.
Louis is a cutie with his Mum's sunglasses. Id be peopering in case he pulled them apart- I wouldnt be able to afford to buy a new pair Smile Kate wouldnt have that problem !

Lots of lovely floaty, feminine dresses arould this year.
I never thought theyd make a comeback.

Notmyrealname855 · 11/07/2019 12:29

Very fond of the floaty dresses but can’t find many nice ones! Gutted that the LK B one has sold out
