Obviously today's the second day of Ascot but given Kate's outfit yesterday, I felt a My Fair lady tribute was fitting!

Didn't like either of Kate's dresses but I think her MO is to play it safe which you can't blame her for, she can't win really.

Max just looks superb, it's her personality that carries her. Her hair down is gorgeous.

Leti's dress is beautiful in its simplicity ant the colour really suits her.
The princess to Leti's left looks a bit tweenage bored. That awkward age of having to look presentable at one of your parent's work events, only it's on the world stage, not in some obscure office or country hotel. 😄

Must be all that riding that keeps Anne trim. How many women approaching 70 can fit into outfits they wore on their 30s?

The dress she wore yesterday looks very similar to one Kate wore in India, possibly for her visit to the Taj Mahal.

@latedecember1963 That's Sofia, the younger princess. I think she's only about 11 or 12 but has inherited SFF's height.

Laiste I disagree, I think a lot of comments would be outraged that she with the money she has at her disposal didn't plan for rain and have something "suitable" and chic nearby and look at QE:s custom made umbrellas, this engagement was no surprise and so on.

I met PA when she opened a children's centre where l worked. She was very slim in RL. The camera does lie 😁
So she must be about a size 8 l think certainly no more than a 10. I didn't like her dress or her wrap, they looked mismatched to me. I was always taught to never mix navy with black I am sure PA wrap is black get a grip girl you are getting obsessed . I watched the racing on ITV yesterday and the GMTV ladies , Charlotte and Suzanna were dressed by the same stylist . They both looked beautifully turned out imho. I can imagine their stylist would love to get hold of the RF and style their clothes and l would love to see the end results 😀
On a completely different note, did anyone see William and Kate rushing to get to the children after being away from them , very good to see they are so involved and normal with them. I am wondering if they will send the children to a boarding school when they get older. I can't see it myself but it would be a complete change of tradition. Beautiful family , l just love the way Kate is with all children .

Liking Anne and Sophie's more recent outfits - much nicer for Sophie than her first day look. Pretty sure PAs wrap / jacket thing is navy, ut hard to say on a screen.

That blue dress of Kate's keeps popping up on various blogs, with lots of praise - I think it's so fussy, another case of All The Things IMO. Rather like her habit of having All The Buttons... I prefer cleaner lines, personally. That dress as a skirt (which is what it is off the peg) with a plainer top would be gorgeous, but with the fussy top too it's just too much.

I thought Kate was a boarder, wasn't she? Will be interesting to see what they choose, but I do strongly it will be Eton for the boys and Marlborough for Charlotte.

Oh on fromberkshire insta account she thinks that the royal foundation split will be announced today.

The Times article almost paints DoC as being Machiavellian, maybe not as all sweetness and light as she appears?
