Obviously today's the second day of Ascot but given Kate's outfit yesterday, I felt a My Fair lady tribute was fitting!

This photo shows the pattern is prettier up close.

I saw video on IG and the dress is terribly flouncey and the wedges are terribly heavy and a bit clodhoppery.

Not my fave look really.

But it was a casual affair with kids and it is hard to dress appropriately.

Yeah I think Kate’s makeup needs a refresh.

See. This ties in with my theory of her always fucking up her accessories. The dress is lovely. But the shoes are dreadful with it and not at all fitting for the occasion. She should have worn her suede nude courts.

I really like Kate's outfit today, shoes and all. I think court shoes would have been too heavy and formal with such a light, flimsy summer dress.

Interesting looking at Eugenie's Ascot styles. I was surprised by how many good outfits there are. The first two of the three red ones are exactly the right necklines for her and make a huge difference - she looks great.

I didn't like Kate's look today, the colour was too pale and the style too droopy and flimsy, and it didn't go with the clumpy looking shoes either.

I thought she looked great and perfect for the occasion. I've only seen older people wear courts with a floaty summer dress. Her shoes were just right.

Just watched Sarah Ferguson on the news. She looks awful. So much older than her age. Didn’t look like that at her daughter’s wedding. What’s happened??

I don't think courts would've worked with that dress, maybe sandals? But I'm quite partial to wedges so didn't mind those today. The dress also comes in a slightly deeper shade that I think would've looked good on Kate.

The Queen looks nice tonight. Good to see her without a coat or stiff formal wear for a change.

Of the two dresses I prefer the one she chose. But wouldn’t you have loved it if she’d worn white trainers!

I actually thought she looked ok. Definitely better than she looked at Ascot.
I suspect she lost weight for Eugenie’s wedding and it’s now crept on.

Nobody should wear a dress that length. Too long and too short simultaneously.

No she was on the news as she was talking about supporting the couple whose daughter ate a Pret sandwich and died. She looks so much older than she is. Maybe she has loads of fillers for big events but I was quite shocked.

I like Kate’s outfit. I think it’s a refreshing change from all the severe stuff she wears normally. She suits a more relaxed vibe I think.

I saw that @Smokeonthewater. She couldn't move her mouth properly when she spoke. At first I wondered if she'd had a stroke. But I imagine it's to do with some sort of cosmetic procedure
