If you could have ONE eyeshadow palette, what would it be?

I’ve been working on downsizing my makeup collection for years now and am quite content with where it’s at now. I have one makeup bag and then an acrylic box with back ups which I’m working my way through.

The one thing I just can’t settle on is an eyeshadow palette, I’ve tried hundreds over the years and have bought, sold, traded and passed on most of them. I’m left with a few quads/palettes just now which are lovely but I’m just not wowed or inspired by them.

I’d love a palette that I could use for every day, work, nights outs, cinema trips, lunch days etc. A one size fits all type thing.

Urban Decay born to run (which I thought would be perfect but I think it has TOO much choice)
Charlotte Tilbury dolce vita
Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk
A custom Inglot quad
A MAC duo with All That Glitters and Sable

What palette would you have if you could have only one?

Bobbi Brown Haute Nudes is great

Oh thanks I’ll have a look at that one, I don’t think I’ve tried any BB palettes but I did have a single eyeshadow which I loved

Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry or I would make my own with makeup geek eyeshadows

I only have one palette with eye shadow and blush / highlighter. It’s a tarte one

I use my UD Naked Smoky palatte every single day. It has all the colours I need based on the clothes I wear!! There are still some colours I've never used but I guess that always happens with a palatte?

Urban Decay Smoky Eye.

Would be very difficult to choose.
Urban decay Naked is always a winner for me. I don't think you can go wrong with a classic.
Although The Balm - Balm Jovi palette is one of my favourites as the eyeshadows are buttery, easy to blend, awesome colours for both day and night and also comes with a powder highlighter and blusher. Also comes with 2 cream lipstick/blushers as well so it's amazing for travel.
In fact I've just sold it to myself. Balm Jovi by The Balm it is!

I have the same two Charlotte Tilbury quads and use them both a lot. For me the Dolce Vita quad is perfect for nights out, but I’m very pale.I also use Chanel Clair obscur, which is the perfect every day eye shadow quad and works really well with pillow talk.

For me the perfect pallets have light and dark shades and a shimmer which is tricky to find in a quad but I get overwhelmed with larger pallet and end up using only a few of the shades, it’s such a waste.

Natasha Denona Gold. Expensive but the pans are about 3x the size of ABH. Lovely mattes and shimmers/duo chromes with a pop of colour. I bought mine in November and I haven't touched any of my other palettes since. Not even made a dent in it yet because the pans are so big and the eyeshadow are so pigmented. You only need to dab your brush in it to pick up enough colour, it blends like a dream too.

Another votw for Urban Decay naked. Lasts forever, looks beautiful on.

My favourite without a doubt is naked 2- i recently gave away naked heat as it made me look ill

I had a Tarte pro to go and I passed it on - I regret that now.

Will have a look at The Balm and also the Chanel quad as I’m also super pale.

Oooh I’ve been wanting to try the Natasha Denona biba palette but it’s so expensive!

I’ve gone with the Urban Decay naked 2 palette. I used to own all the Naked range and passed them on, the Naked original has been discontinued which is sad as it really was my favourite, however the Naked 2 is probably more suited to how I like my makeup now.

Disxontinued?! I'm woebegone. I use it all the time.

Morphe palettes are amazing. Very pigmented, go on great & last

ABH Soft Glam.

I don't actually own it but I would say the huda nude palette, I have one of the smaller obsessions palette and its lovely quality but not big enough to be your only one.

My fave is the Too faced chocolate bar!

I have quite a number of pallettes and am a bit fed up of all the nude ones. However one of my favourites in an M&S Autograph one. It is not there now but has sort of browns and golds but a bit more interesting than that.

There is also an MUA palette that has a smoky blue colour. Now I am not a fan of blue eyeshadow but i do love that one!

I have tons of palettes, but of a make up addict but I always go back to me Tarte, Tartiest Pro pallette.

I have Naked Cherry too which I love but wouldn't do as my one and only.

Yep they’ve discontinued it, no idea why it was amazing! Gutted but I am really excited for the Naked 2 again, I’m remembering how much I loved it and can’t think why on Earth I gave it away now.

I’m really interested in the ABH modern renaissance and the TF chocolate bar palette too.

I couldn't choose between Too Faced Chocolate and Naked Heat.

Urban Decay basics 2 (neutrals) or Urban Decay neutrals 3 (rose/golds)

To be honest palettes drive me mad because they never get the ratios right
