I'll do my best! It won't be today, though. Last night I dozed off on the sofa; by the time I woke up it was getting light, you know how it is. It looks like a good replacement for the YSL.
Briefly, 710 Provocouture, from left to right, with colour names:
Say It: A very pale pearlised pink, a good highlighter, would probably work on top of cheekbones as well as eyes.
With Style: A matt version of Say It.
Otherwise: A matt browny-pink that's a common colour now, I have a colour very close in palettes from MAC, Illamasqua and Bobbi Brown. It's very close to MAC's Hauk but more strongly pigmented.
You Might: A pearlised, slightly more pinky-coppery version of/partner to Otherwise.
As Well: This is interesting, it's a very dark black-brown with a light sprinkling of very fine gold glitter. The glitter isn't obtrusive.
Just Stay: I love this one! It's a pearlised crushed raspberry.
In Bed: An in-your-face rich mid-toned strong pink. Gorgeous
.
I love this palette, I'll wear all of them except maybe the As Well. They're very well pigmented, like the YSL palettes I have, and what I'd expect at this price. The pearlised effect is quite delicate and very wearable for day. The shadows are very finely milled, it's quite noticeable compared with the MAC ones I have; swatching them on my arm they do blend well, and I can actually build them up if I want. Claims for 'buildability' is something I've become a tad sceptical about. It's a very nice palette case, too, good quality, with a full width mirror and a push-button to open it. I do like that push-button, I regularly have wrestling matches with MAC palettes to get them open.
More when I've worn it for a while.
