If you could have ONE eyeshadow palette, what would it be?

I’ve been working on downsizing my makeup collection for years now and am quite content with where it’s at now. I have one makeup bag and then an acrylic box with back ups which I’m working my way through.

The one thing I just can’t settle on is an eyeshadow palette, I’ve tried hundreds over the years and have bought, sold, traded and passed on most of them. I’m left with a few quads/palettes just now which are lovely but I’m just not wowed or inspired by them.

I’d love a palette that I could use for every day, work, nights outs, cinema trips, lunch days etc. A one size fits all type thing.

Just now I have:
Urban Decay born to run (which I thought would be perfect but I think it has TOO much choice)
Charlotte Tilbury dolce vita
Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk
A custom Inglot quad
A MAC duo with All That Glitters and Sable

What palette would you have if you could have only one?

I've got a lot of palettes but I've just bought the Too Faced Natural Lust palette and would say I could survive with just this. I haven't looked at any of my other palettes since I got it.

My NARS shadows arrived and I cannot believe the difference in the newer packaging.

Left (Onidine) is the older style. £19 for 2.2g
Right (Blondie) is the newer one. £17 for 1.1g and it’s a removal eyeshadow with magnetic back.

£2 cheaper surely doesn’t justify half the product! Shock

The Huda one came and I love it! The shades are lovely and a good mix of glitters and matts, I especially like the reflective ones which are different to anything else I have and are best pressed on with fingers.

Ill need to look at more Huda, I like the smaller palettes.

My two NARS shadows are okay but I probably wouldn’t buy again, the one in the older packaging is quite hard to pick up pigment, the newer packaging is very very soft and there’s a lot of kickback, I imagine as I’m planning on using it daily that I’ll get through it very quickly.

Chuffed to have my Naked 2 palette back too.

Just bought the naked 2 palette on offer from Debenhams- it's lovely and has a good quality brush included

I ordered the Marc Jacobs steel(etto) palettes the other day with some other minis sets from him and it arrived tonight. I’ll need to have a play with it tomorrow. I think that alongside my Naked 2 will be great.
