I really struggle with summery scents...hmmm...sotd prob LBD weekend.

My heatwave scent last summer was Miller Harris' Tea Tonique. Gorgeously fresh and uplifting.

SotD is the last of my Mandarino di Amalfi Acqua over the top of some Eau de Cedre (accident, but it works OK). I do like MdAA; more so than Neroli Portofino. I got a few 8mls of TFs when I was doing the Scent Addict subscription, but very disappointingly their plastic spray bottles are disastrously bad for evaporation . Not a good design unless you expect people to use up all the perfume in the month they receive it (who does that ?).

SOTD is Freeway, lovely Freeway.

Calm, I gave in and bought some MPG! I wore it for three days in a row and loved it. A little goes a long way -- it's potent stuff!

La Chasse aux Papillon is my scent tonight .
I'm going to a ball and wearing a long silk dress and bright blue fingers n toes. If course there's always the one finger that keeps on smudging.
My dd's didn't have any fake tan so had to resort to one of those wipes .I'm really not used to dressing up and wearing heels .

SOTD is clarins eau des jardins - one of my fave summer smells.

Feel a bit stuck in a rut. Both in terms of perfume and clothes. Returning to work has made me feel old and uncool compared to lots of the (v young) women around me. Have been trawling some of my online staples but nothing is appealing.

Have had a couple of successful blind buys this week!

Just got L'Instant de Guerlain EDT in TX Maxx, 100ml for £24. I thought I'd smelled it before but wasn't sure, but for that price...I really like it fortunately!

Also 100ml of Aquolina Black Sugar from eBay, £10 delivered. So impressed with this for a cheapie- sweet, smoky, leathery and spicy. Performance pretty decent too.

I also have a Tauer blind buy on it's way from an FB group. Noontide Petals- very excited to get this, has anyone tried it? It's discontinued and think it was £50 for a barely used bottle, couldn't resist

I bought a huge bottle from Fragrance Direct last year, actually cheaper than when I last bought it from Boots around 15 years ago!
Truth still smells the same on me & I love that lush tangy green vibe.
When I more or less religiously wore Truth circa 2002 - 2004 I also would alternate with the much cheaper Avon Perceive, as they more or less smelt the same.
Though have recently tried Perceive again & it smells like cat piss on me.

Ooh Lotsofpots I like Eau des Jardins too! Am v tempted to get the shower gel... but £20!!

Succumbed to the M&S beauty box (did need undies and sunscreen, honest) so SotD is Shay & Blue English Cherry Blossom. A sheer, not very sweet, fruit-floral on a simple woody base. Not sure this quite hits the spot for me today. Have reached for Arpege for a more immersive and rich floral experience.
