Get the HN box. It would be impossible to get it on your own. It's like an advent calendar you can open all in one go. Also- get any other Perf Soc box and you'll get 100ml Charlotte Tilbury Scent of a Dream free.

Liking Bella Oudh - although it's a ghostly presence. Delicate and barely there and yet still going 12 hours later. One of those perfumes that hovers above the skin.

SOTD on this miserable grey day is Marina Barcenilla India on my right wrist and Mitsouko (great minds, Judy) on my left. India was quite hard going for the first hour - a quite overpowering, medicinal spice-and-balsam. It has softened and sweetened a little now but I'm not quite convinced. I thought I'd love it, going by the notes, but for me it is shoutier than I would have hoped for.

Mitsouko, though...why the hell don't I wear this more often??? Good grief, it's stunning wanders over to allbeauty

I really want to like Mitsouko but it doesn't suit me at all sadly. Not many Guerlains do, apart from the atypical ones like Champs Elysees and Nahema.

We've left the concrete pods behind. Thank God because after 6 days in them the novelty was wearing very thin ( and the food was monotonous). Now we're here on the 35th floor of a building in Kl. The contrast couldn't be greater as the second picture was our view this morning before our flight.

Me too @Count. I have spent years buying it. Now ds2 is starting at a no uniform school and I only have one in uniform . Shoes are the worse thing to buy. Ds2 wrecked his shoes 6 weeks before the end of term and was told off for wearing black trainers. So I bought him a really cheap pair from Sports Direct, only to find they were a size too small. But he had to hobble around in them for speech day and school photo day.
I'm going to try dig out the Mfk concession nearby to try the new perfumes as the Silver one sounds right up my street.
