I don't know if it is a bad idea perfume wise but I have signed up with Sniph. I have never been a big perfume wearer just fruity smells. I made a huge mistake buy from Penhaligans and do own rhubarb citrus from the Tuesday company!
I have been sent a perfume called L'eau de Concombre by Phaedon which someone at work said made me smell fresh like I had just got out of a shower! I like it so much I have ordered a large bottle. I have learned from my Penhaligans mistake and like trying a new perfume each month.
Oh would people buy the Penhaligans perfume on eBay even though I have had a few squirts? It's the Luna fragrance.

I'm sure they would.

L'eau de Concombre by Phaedon was in The Big Sniff we did on here last year. Cucumber and mint top notes, it is a lovely fresh perfume. Might have to dig it out of my Bloom sample box for another sniff.

SotD Bois Naufrage again, forgot to put on perfume before I went to work then found my travelo of this in my work bag.

Yes, weird humid weather. Not a good day as Dd2 accused of cheating at school. DH is up in arms as it's not her cheating but a boarder. So both dh and DD are upset.
L eau d concombre is beautiful and I really want to try Bois Naufrage. Last year Bloom included a Ulun perfume instead of the Bois Naufrage in the perfume set .

I spent a lovely hour in John Lewis, testing perfumes. I like to end up with lots of testing strips, labelled up so I can carry on testing at home. There are three I can’t stop sniffing:
Laura Mercier L’Heure Magique - a soft spicy musky floral. I’m not sure I really like it but I keep going back to it!
Terre D’Hermes - stunningly classy and woodsy
Galop D’Hermes - I loved this one so much but it’s expensive. I have good taste! It’s beautiful, starting off with leather saddle and then it softens with the addition of rich florals.

Stayingalive, I loved L’Eau de Concombre from the Big Sniff. It was full bottle worthy for me.

I hoped you would Buffy! It's a rather lovely amber I think, warm and comforting but not too heavy; quite good for the summer months as well.

Nocturne...very nice but I'll have to look up the notes. Something there I cant quite distinguish.

Pine-tastic tonight in Yatagan and Encens Flamboyant. The former green and deep and crisp and long, the latter smoky and stubby (the smell is short if you know what I mean - like rubber stopping on flooring due to high friction rather than skates gliding 'long' over ice.

(Does anyone else get 'short' like this? Chinatown has a similar quality but smells nothing like...).

Yes @Motherofdragonite, I’m fine. We had some good news today. Dd1 passed her first year Vet exams so it means she can join us on our summer holiday as planned. Hope you are ok too and not too stressed by toddler tantrums?
